i was going to be like holy SHIT dude don't read infinite jest in a text file are you insane but then I saw 2666 and realized it was probably a book list.

also this is tangential but do you guys know any good foobar skins or is it worth doing that shit at all? I don't care about stupid desktop stuff but there's probably some that are more functional than what i've got.

also come on some of you guys have some terrible images. i dont care but yo dom is right it is brushes on city scapes with a color shift and it's weird that you'd go into a desktop thread and then get huffy when someone says "what a lame desktop image".

Protip (not directed at Steel): In Vista you can hide your desktop icons at any time by right clicking, going to View, and then check or uncheck "Show Desktop Icons".

lol yeah it used to be just an empty text reminding me to get those two books (i leave ones like this all the time) but now it turned in the book list

idk a lot of those to me are pretty shitty images but i don't really MIND it as much i guess since i see them every day in lectures because everyone has a laptop. i've become desensitized but i just find it weird how angry he gets (and how every post i see of his is a complaint).

i kinda like the eiffel tower one but its p. girly

You can do it in xp too. Right click > Arrange Icons > Show Desktop

If you don't mind the crude outlook and some googling/asking around, you can probably make yourself one and get it to work just like you want. Are you more for playlists or libraries or something completely else?
