Gameboy Color was pretty sad

it was like NOW WITH 2 COLORS and then Game Boy Advance comes along and I still don't understand whether it was better or worse than the SNES but it still made the GBC feel like a huge ripoff it was pretty ridiculous I remember the last GBC game I got into was that remake of Dragon Warrior III and that was like mutant-looking and then the GBA comes along and does pretty much accurate remakes of every game I remember from a kid and it was still pretty impressive with DW3 and it was crazy they fit all the animation in all but like they could've waited 3 months and had a pretty good high-profile RPG for the GBA which was like retro RPG machine I wonder if they didn't know about the GBA, that it was in development and were really pissed about that (Enix)

Edit: Sorry to be all DW fanboy I'm just saying I think the remake of 3 was the best the series looked aside from 8 probably and didn't Golden Sun make more money than God when it came out so I would think Enix was pretty teed off that they didn't have this cool-looking RPG for the new Game Boy system just some gay Pokemon ripoff (Dragon Quest Monsters)

man gbc added a lot of color it was only a small pallet for games that were backwards compatible with old gameboys, if you played the gbc-only games then there was a p. big difference

plus you act like the gbc and the gba weren't three years apart, i don't see how that's a ripoff unless you got a gbc right before the gba was released (why would you do this)

well those Game Boy-compatible games were pretty much the only ones that game out for the first 2 years or something

I was confused by that video preview I thought the exclusives were color-coded. I remember for a while there were like no exclusive games because they didn't want to piss off game boy people I guess but I seriously remember them only getting serious with the exclusive games like a year before GBA came out

I can't really remember GBC very well wasn't like most of the exclusive stuff some muddy-looking remake of Donkey Kong Country and a Super Mario Bros. remake where you couldn't see and had to pan the screen and Pokemon something and Pokemon something else. Oh and LITTLE NICKY the game is on there

Edit: Pokemon + Harvest Moon games are impossible to keep track of, I half want to buy a new Harvest Moon game because I only tried the SNES one but I would have no idea whether the game was a full-on sequel or expansion pack or some spin-off where you play as a cow or what. None of them even have sequel-sounding names they're all like Harvest Moon: Hi Hi Peach Tree Let's Go! Again
