Since there was a bit of interest in having one I figured it could stand to have its own topic.  I don't live in Toronto so I have no idea as to what we could do but I'm figuring the plan is to spend a day there, during the week? 

Anyways, I'd be down for that, as would Mamamack.  So, suggest away.

I would prefer a weekday, if we do this in May; my weekends are booked up through the end of June. I've been up to the CN Tower (expensive + heart-stopping fright), and I've been to a couple of the malls. I wouldn't mind the ROM, or other fun places to go stare at things while in the presence of adults. Or we could just hang out somewhere; either way, it doesn't bother me. I don't know much about Toronto and it's fun times, so I'm at the mercy of others who are more knowledgeable in that regard.

yeah, i'm definitely down for the island! mamamack is RIGHT. you have to line up for the ferries to take you to different places. you see the people going to the nude beach and you're like "OKAY LETS GO IN THE OTHER LINE" haah

Yeah, Dulcinea's idea for meeting somewhere to eat and then continuing on afterwards is probably our best bet.  That way we can have a plan B ready in case the weather sucks or something.  As for the ROM, I think it'd be fun to go but if it's too $$ then nevermind, heh.

Ok, so as for a day, let's pick Tuesday the 19th of May.  Does that work for everyone?

lets do a steam whistle tour! basically you sample beer and tour around the roundhouse. I havent done this myself but have seen this everytime ive gone to a jays game. dunno bout pricing though. or theres just the walk down the city. we could visit some neat buildings, the cn tower, aircanada centre, cbc building etc.

I do agree though that the best picnic place would be toronto island. rom is nice but the ontario science centre is better imo.

If this is on a weekday then I can't go since I work 9-5 Mon-Fri.  Sounds like fun though.
