I saw this last night.

The fighting scenes were cool and just BARELY made the movie tolerable but the rest sucked.

ya man terminator with transformers turns me on

seriously tho its mostly because i like bale and terminator even though terminator 3 wasnt that great im still looking forward to it. also the trailer had a great NIN song... ;]

man i will admit this and shoot my rep to pieces but there's no way you are a bigger fan of the terminator movie series than i am and i actually like christian bale as well but MCG and the fact there is ZERO TIME TRAVEL/ACTUAL SHIT FROM TERMINATOR OTHER THAN ROBOTS means this is about as much a terminator movie as idk I AM.

ds if i blew up a robot would you say T5 HERE WE COME.

y2dazz's terminator script actually had more in terms of appealing to a terminator fan how did you get excited?

i am saying this because i remembered you are at least close to my age and horrible as this i thought...we'd all outgrown esplosion...

no but for real if you are terminator fan how did you not think "UGH" instead of W000000T.

one of the nerdiest/funnest things i did with these nerds in the hall was they were shooting nerfguns at each other, i had one that one left in my room and they didn't know i was in, suddenly terminator 2 theme starts playing really loud, i walked out completely in black with sunglasses and a trenchcoat and shot them all and everyone fell over laughing because it was such fantastic timing

i mean it's lame but no one expected it and it was a nice freshman year reminder, and i actually have loads of memories tied in with terminator so i'm serious in that i doubt you could be a bigger WHOOOOA THIS IS MY MOVIE and not think "ugh a piece of shit action film" when you saw that trailer.

ALL COMIC BOOK ADAPTATIONS SHOULD BE BAS RELIEF SHITTY MUSIC VIDS.

not saying they should be, just saying the ones I've enjoyed most so far have been. 300 was probably the best comic/graphic novel adaptation i have seen since the crow, in terms of capturing the aesthetic and narrative of its source with style and memorability. all the marvel-to-film attemps have just been eye-rollers, as far as I can think of (with the rare exception of Pyun's Captain America, which has some genuine charm in the bowells of its otherwise emetic quality, but that is mostly nostalgic charm by now, because it was like 20 years ago now so I guess it doesn't exactly fit in with this new breed of superhero flicks that started with the first spider-man.)

idk, i liked the crow more than any other superhero movie i've seen in the new wave, but then I enjoyed Starwars ep III more than most of them. Haven't seen Punisher: War-Zone yet but hoping it will be just some good old fashioned ultraviolence that fits the character persona more than the "superhero faces off against: bad guy with the same powers as him" template.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I haven't been a huge huge fan of these X-Men movies simply because they warp the story to whatever they need to just to squeeze in extra characters for fan service. It's not confusing for me, it's just a blatant waste. This one played that card a little less. There were a lot of characters, but not THAT MANY. So, it was cooler. Not overly fond of how they used Deadpool, but he was played well early in the movie.
Some scenes were melodramatic with Wolverine, but whatever. It was a dumb made-for-masses action flick with super powers. Plus the quote "I'm Canadian!" made it that much more pleasing.

I'd see it again. Probably on bluray, but still. I'd watch it again!

Spill.com did an audio review that sums up everything I think about this.

http://my.spill.com/profiles/blogs/xmen-origins-wolverine-audio

Highly recommend listening to it despite the length. Seriously.

This movie is so fucking bad dude, I'm lucky I haven't gotten into debates about how much this movie is bullshit despite people I know having loved it.

I really can't stop thinking about HOW BAD THIS MOVIE IS even though it's been a while. This movie is so awful. SOooooo awful

It was pretty bad but I mean what did you expect from a cash cow sequel.

There were a few parts that after watching the movie, made me laugh, like the fact that they never did explain why he took the name logan so everyone in the theatres probably was like, "how many names does this guy have agh!!!" Or the amazing cgi claws with the horribly off sound... Also what did they do to Dead Pool at the end they ruined him what was with the eye beams!!!

ps whoever said Ryan Renolds was awful I disagree with he made a perfect Dead Pool for the first 6 minutes of the movie.

the eye beams at the end of the movie was pretty hilarious

yeah, maybe i'm wierd too but I liked ryan reynolds as dead pool but then again I just think that reynolds is attractive so maybe i'm biased?

i genuinely don't get it. was deadpool just that badly written in the comic? not that that would surprise me after all this is X-MEN but god damn that is setting the bar really low.

i mean i don't get whether LOL I REALLY LIKE SWORDS..PS I'M UNFUNNY AND DON'T KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP was really supposed to be his thing originally but i thought all of his lines were terrible and poorly acted and i couldn't even begin to take him seriously additionally to all this because it was ryan reynolds.

there is something like this, art professor showed it to me so idk how well-known it is. the words flashed in different ways, sometimes it would spell out a word or sometimes they'd put a couple different words on the screen at once. it was kind of interesting at first because it made everything seem really important but it got real fuckin boring after like 5 minutes. it wasn't even a good story.

While it should have been titled weapon x since it had nothing to do with the x-men except for xavavier at the very end and no explanation to why gambit wasn't in the later films as far as movies go it was a good movie. If you seriously want to pick it apart i want you to tell me how you could do better. I'm sick of how people tear movies apart because of technical falacies. give it a break. its not reality. its a movie. appreciate it for what it is. Okay, i never did understand why sabretooth called him jimmy. or some of the other things people complained about but damnit lets see you try to convert a comic book series into a movie less than two hours long without pissing off somebody. people who ruin movies make me sick because all they do is complain without taking consideration to what it actually takes to make a movie, especially since so many people have the ability to easily pirate the movie these days. leaked screeners anyone? sure a movie shouldn't be overhyped to the point where its used to sell razors and im sure that sets the bar for lots of disspointment but for fucks sake, odds are it didn't cost you more than ten dollars. stop bitching. its quality work.

p.s. on a side note, i have been drinking. i may have rambled a bit. happy 21 to meeeee.

I am not going to appreciate something that clearly insults film as a medium. MAN BALISTICS ECKS VS SEVER SUCKS BUT I GOTTA APPRECIATE IT FOR WHAT IT IS IT AINT REALITY ITS A MOVIE DONT TEAR IT APART ITS QUALITY WORK

I'd say one thing about this movie, the cgi with Wolverines claws was so bad. You can see just how bad they are on the actual trailer... I dont understand why they did such a poor job with them, you would think for a movie about Wolverine they would at least get Wolverine right.

I loved it, actually.

Way better than the garbage known as X-Men: The Last Stand.

I hear that it screwed up a lot of stuff with the comics, but really that doesn't matter to me.  I expected an entertaining movie and it absolutely delivered.

Uh, this is slightly relevant; if you didn't like the movie you might like the game. So fucking brutal and bloody. Basically a god of war style gameplay with claws that slice arms and legs, heads torsos off. Reminds me of a non-cartoony Mark of Kri. Love it.
