Was that actually a good episode that I just watched, or was I dreaming it?

Let's hope this keeps up, I'm actually looking forward to the next episode.

Yeah, I was impressed, last week almost killed it for me, but I kinda like the rebellion thing for now.

Im not too sure why but I felt bored through most of the first episode also expecting it to be as bad as Villains. By the end I was feeling pretty good about the show again, it didnt seem too over-the top with powers although this is just the first ep... will have to see what happens later on.

I was confused after watching this episode because there was alot which I just didnt understand or maybe I forgot from the last episode but why doesnt Hiro have any powers? Why does Peter need to touch people now in order to gain their powers instead of just being close to them? Didnt Mohinder lose his strength along with the disease he had when he got washed with the formula from Villains? Anyway so far so good with Fugitives.

Also Nemesis we dont have a lost thread because everyone on here thinks its a stupid show.. personally I love it.

I don't get the Peter thing either, my guess is that he used to need to witness people using their powers before mimicing them, but since Mohinder (what happen to the spine and scales?)  wasn't displaying his strength he couldnt mimic the way he used too, but I guess now is power has evolved and now similar to Arthurs in away. Also apparently he can only use one at a time.

Hiro's was stolen by Arthur in the second to last episode, so as of now he is just normal.

And overal I felt this episode was weak, and I think it's going to go the direction of Marvel Civil War.

Forgot about Walker being frozen mid bite. Makes sense about Ando, though I don't think that future exist anymore.

Whatever power that was Sylar acquired did not look like Cryokinesis, which he gets at some point before killing the next person on that list -James Walker, Molly's dad. Technically shattering things like that could be an advanced usage of it but why not just show it directly being Cyrokinesis and fill out that nice 'plothole' of where he gained the ability to freeze Molly's dad solid before removing his brain. Then again this is Heroes I'm talking about...

Yeah wish they would of have done that with cryokenesis, though James walker could still be the one with it, and sylar just froze his body afterwards. Not the greatest episode but i did like them showing Arthur and Linderman together. I think Hiro will still freeze time before Artur can steal his powers, or maybe mid way through stealing them as a way to weaken Hiro up a bit.

I thought the episode was alright but i agree looking forward to the one in two weeks. Looks like they pretty close to getting rid of the season two characters. Maya is probably done, unless see come up later just as a love intrest. Murray, Bob, Monroe are all dead. West and Monica have yet to be seen in this season. So that leaves Elle, so i'm hoping see doesn't die in the next few episodes.

Heres an odd and funny thought ive just had... when peter stood by his father before he hugged him, shouldnt he have absorbed all of his fathers powers including the one to steal someone elses abilities through touch?

Too be completely honest, alot of this season feels like theres alot of gaps and loopholes spread throughout most of the episodes.. e.g. why didnt Hiro simply freeze time when searching for the psychic around his cabin instead of letting him constantly knock him out with a shovel.. c'mon

Good point about Peter. I think he has to witness the power before he can use it and his dad just caught him off guard.

The whole reason Peter was sent to get Sylars power was so it couldn't get taken away by his dad. I mean it's not like he randomly went to the future to get his power, he was told to get his power by someone who knew what would happen if he didn't. Makes sense.

Thats what I'm saying. Sylar's power works differently then everyone elses that why it was needed.

But isn't that what Sylar's power is, it's more then just knowing how powers work, he knows how objects work and possibly even situation. But either way, they dedicated an episode for peter to aquire sylars power, there must have been a reason and it wouldn't make much sense for it it to just be stolen an episode later.

Him not being able to use Candices power is because of the virus, but he can still use aptitude because he knows how her power work he just can't use it. The aptitude also kicks in when he's talking to Derek, the guy with Maya and Alejandro. YOu here the trademark ticking and then he kills him.

I've been thinking about Peter getting all his power stripped, and I don't think it makes much sense, since the show made a big deal about him gaining Sylar's power in the futre, so I think he still has Sylars power. Back in season one Chandra Sueresh couldn't detect Sylar's power of intuitive aptitude. When Sylar was capture by the Company they couldn't trace his intial power or any of they aquired powers except for telekinesis. In season 2 when Sylar was infected with the Shanti virus which strips evolved human of their powers, Sylar was unable to use any of his powers except for intuitive aptitude, which is being used when ever you hear his trademark clock ticking noise. So I think Sylars power works differently then the other evolved humans, and thats why it was so important for Peter to aquire this power in the future.

Also, after Sylar was cured from the Shanti virus he was only abe to acess telekiness, all of his other powers were lost. (Hearing, radiation, freezing...) Telekinesis is Sylars first and most used accuired power. So maybe Peter still has one power left.

Linderman was one the orginal 12 and good friends with Arthur Petreli, seems likely that he's met Peter before, who could mimic it.

I am enjoying this new season, but I can not be the only on who is fed up with Claire. Future Claire is, for lack of a better word, a cunt. They are trying to make her a hardass, but without any useful powers she just looks dumb. While Present Claire is a puddle of emotion that is annoying as hell. The whole Future has been bugging me, why the hell does Future Peter have the same scar. Since Hiro went into the future, wouldn't that have changed the events, however in Season 3 Future Peter still has a scar.

About Claire in a few post above I agreed that I'm tired of her story arcs, all the same teenage drama. And for Peter's scar he souldn't have it but the prolly kept it so people could tell them apart.

that future ceased to exist

That part has been bugging me. So since that future she should no longer exist, but when Hiro did the whole travel back think in season one, Ando was still aware of both continuities, one with Charlie being murdered by Sylar and the other by a tumor. So maybe she will just merge with the current future.

Yeah, I disliked Nikki as well. Glad hey ended that story arc, now if they can do something about Claire, whose story is worse. Say teenage drama bull crao every week.

Well they do answer question, but for everyone they answer they ask atleast two more.
