Man for a good game as Max Payen 3 is one of them I would recommended a 15 dollar buy if it wasn't for the glitch that I hit.

When I go in to wall cover it's like 70% gamble of me getting stuck and I need to go into wall cover mode for 2 reasons one is so i can fire back with out getting plastered by bullets and two to build up slow mo bar. Normally I take wall cover when Slow mo bar is out since it takes time to fill. Slow mo is over powered since I can chill out there getting shot at the longest time but once it's gone it's a "payen" (hope you see what I did there) to get it back and this glitch isn't helping.

decided to pick up dark souls since it was 15 bucks on amazon.  in spite of it being a pain in the ass to play on the computer I'm loving it so far.

i have a cheap logitech one that i had to download and run an emulator program to get it to be close to the 360 controller.  i did, and now everything is working correctly, but it took a good hour and a half of work to get ds from digital download to playable.

Huh, guess I'm lucky, I just have to plug it in and most games auto recognise my 360 pad.

I'm thinking you didn't read it all the way. He's not using a 360 but another controller some games only read the 360 so he had a program that will make his controller look like a 360.

No, I read it all, I'm saying that I'm lucky BECUASE i have a 360 pad, all i have to do is plug it in, no need to faff about like with older pads and the need to configure or anything like it.

apart from that the games for window overlay was also giving me problems, so i had to troubleshoot that before i could do online play, which as i understand it is the only reasonable way to play ds

I finally got around to beating Ratchet and Clank. Fantastic game.

I tried starting up the first Jak and Daxter but the disc I bought at a garage sale is too scratched up. Wasted a dollar.

So I'm starting the Second Ratchet and Clank. First thing I noticed: did they change the voice actor for Ratchet? Also I can actually STRAFFE in this one, so it feels more like a proper shooter. In fact it's balance of platform vs shooter has largely switched.
