yeah. there are some really cool stories about takeshi no chousenjou. takeshi actually told them what he wanted in the game and they did it pretty much to the t. he was also drunk a lot of the time too. so here was some drunk comedian who doesn't play games or know anything about them designing one. i think that's awesome. i want to get someone who knows nothing about games and just do whatever he tells me to do.

yeah that was one of the best parts of the interview arino had with the taito guy, the guy just went "they would use every idea, even though he was drunk"

and then they talked about how most of the creators were mysteriously not there anymore

i found a copy of this game on ebay last night but it is in a lot of 50 games so it's like $70...but i wonder how rare that game is because i've always heard it was pretty rare, if it's usually a really expensive game then $70 might not look so bad anymore (i mean it's way too much for ME but some famicom collector out there could get a good deal)

unfortunately i can't find any info about this game as far as prices go :(

reminds me of that episode of the simpsons where homer designed a car

they have done games where it was designed by some stupid kid right. But I agree some random person should just be selected to make a video game like the Publisher's Clearing House, like we need more senior citizens making games

They also made Ballz 3D on the genesis. I finally beat the game and got to play through it again as one of the bosses, it was worth it. I think I played as the genie.

i'm pretty sure it's not rare at all. it sold hundreds of thousands of copies. in fact, i think it was one of the best-selling nintendo games. i bet of the hundreds of thousands of copies sold though, only a handful of people actually beat it.

Cool, I think I will get this Takeshi game. I kind of want to play that game, Incredible Crisis, too. I remember reading a review in some game magazine for it when it first came out. I guess I was around 10. It looked cool.

I ordered Takeshi yesterday, it was the last copy they had in stock though!

But you will need an actual famicom to play it because I don't know of any NES emulators that support the microphone in any way.  Of course I guess you could just play up to that point.

i'm pretty sure that there's at least one nes emulator with microphone support.
http://www.emulators.cc/downloads/windows_nes/nesterj/readme.txt <-- NesterJ has microphone support, pretty sure there are a few others. Don't know how well they work though.

I'm certain a bunch of high-end NES emus handle the microphone. I think NesterJ, FCEUltra and Nestopia should all do it.
