I didn't read all of the responses but I would upgrade my computer with that money, or invest it into my camera equipment. The more time I save on my computer not waiting for stuff to load the better (plus gaming is more enjoyable). As far as camera stuff goes that kind of makes sense because I make money with my camera (senior photos, local sports teams, etc) so idk if my situation applies to you much at all.

It's relatively safe. It has worked for me a few times so far and also not worked for me, although it should have in those cases.

I just made mistakes. If you don't make any mistakes, it is safer than holding down a regular job. Theoretically should work better, too.

Of the stocks I mentioned, I only own 1. 1 other I attempted to buy today but failed to meet my limit order. I will reattempt tomorrow first thing due to a very strong "affect."

Typically I avoid investing emotionally. I prefer instead to use the term affectively. I also try not to invest speculatively. Just, in this case, I have very positive affections for the previously listed stocks in the short term.

then consider investing about 200 in one of there pics. its extra money, and you can make 5x that in a day on a stock that sellls so low it practically can't go lower.

Trying to get some money together, i tried it once but my purchase went in too late...a technical issue. and I lost about 80 on a stock that had already jumpe 500% before it went through, then it went down. gave me blue balls. if i had just gotten it sooner I'd have made 400 in like 10 minutes.

do your research on how to trade first, don't go in without preparation.

But I'm 18 anyways, never really thought about investments before, I'd have to do my research before I throw some cash that way.

I thought about betting on MMA fights though (UFC,UCC etc) which would be kind of fun as its the only sport I watch really.

Makes you wonder what the hell these companies are and what they do with your invested money. I'm imagining this roadside vendor, like "Pencil Shack" where the guy receives your $20 investment. "Hell yeah we can restock!" Buys 500 pencils, sells them, and BAM! your online investment is increasing already.
