oh yeah that's real

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

yeah I know gpa means nothing but like I said, in terms of simple KNOWLEDGE (notice how I capitalized that) but whatever I don't mean to distract from my other points.
Yeah I agree my boyfriend is pretty normal so I dunno why GW was making a big deal about him.

Let me just say AGAIN since eatmygore didn't read my post: I have never thought homosexuals were "evil gross sinners" or whatever. people need to understand that the key belief of Christianity is that EVERYBODY IS A SINNER! :D for real, everybody sins. I don't believe that all sins are equal anymore, but I dunno if that matters. I am confused about a lot of things and as I said in my last post, the one thing I'm sure of is that everybody is equal and deserves to be loved and not discriminated against. My best friends are a variety of people who are all sinners who I love, and I'm glad that they love a sinner like me too.
I believe sexuality is a choice. This is from personal experience and many other people too. I don't believe the "once gay, always gay! They're lying to themselves!" crap that people say regarding "ex-gays". If someone says they're gay, they are. If someone says they're not gay, they aren't. It's not a big deal. So yeah, homosexuality is a choice that someone can revert.
So yeah I am undecided as to whether being gay is a sin or not. Even if it is, gay people are sinners for other things anyway. everybody is! I just say that if a Christian guy says he's an ex-gay and god told him it was a sin and helped him through it, good for him I'm glad he's happy.
I'm reading through the bible right now and still developing new opinions everyday so my views are subject to change, as always. you can't say i haven't changed-- I know I have. People just prefer to remember and repost the stupid things I've said... there's plenty of them-- I've been here for 8+ years, since I was in single-digit ages.
To clarify more about evolution beliefs: I have no idea how old the world is. I guess it's pretty old-- I don't know how long God's first 7 days were in current time. But I still believe he created everything pretty much as it is. Sure, giraffes can get longer necks. Squirrels can develop longer ears. Wolves can be bred to create dog breeds. Those things have all happened at some point in history, whether naturally (through adaptation, geographic separation, etc) or through human intervention and selective breeding. I think it's more important to focus on what we know has happened in this time rather than trying to specifically pinpoint how long that time is. I'm not a biology or paleontology major, so I don't know everything about this stuff, but my own research and schooling has led me to my current beliefs.
I don't see why that makes me an unintelligent person. I love science, but I am able to question facts. I think intelligence is far more than just knowing and believing in facts though. It's about so much more. I think GW is made of highly intelligent people, even if they don't have all the facts that they think they do. I understand GW's mindset completely.

Anyways I hope people can realize that I'm a respectable, intelligent, nerdy, talented girl who does her best to help the world and love everyone. That's how most people see me. And hey, I'm a proud GW member. I have similar interests and sense of humor to most people here. Why can't we get along even though I have some different views from you? I don't think I'M the one who's intolerant or malicious here.
semper games.

yeah. at worst he was a dumb kid GOD FORBID.

everyone leave mkk alone, she's going to grow out of most of this shit.  and sure she's going to say she's not, but that's because nobody believes anyone when they say "you'll grow out of it".  that's just part of growing up.  stop arguing with a kiddo, leave that shit alone.

And it's totally cool if she doesn't grow out of a lot of it. Everyone's their own person. Variety is the spice of life, and all that.

I've always had this sort of weird thing about approaching women

Maybe it's because you call them bitches.

Also, never tried online dating. I have been curious before, just to see who a machine might tell me I'm compatible with, but I think the main advantage with online dating is actually what's unappealing to me. You can see  a person's interests, favourite movies etc., so it kind of takes the fun out of finding those things out, and also has limited benefit. How someone describes themself might not be how they are at all, and their love for the same movie doesn't necessarily mean that we're compatible. I hear there's some sites that are more refined and can find compatibility from personality tests, but I do find it a bit hard to believe that we're so simple our beliefs, past experiences, upbringings, and desires can be put into boxes and matched just from a multiple choice quiz...

-more open to sexuality things, but confused. my group of best friends contains a transgender, 2 gay guys, pansexual girl, bi guy, masculine bi girl, goth lesbian, etc... I love them all.

That sounds like the cast of a very fucked up porn.

And Vellfare is right, she is gonna grow out of most of that shit. She is a confused 15 years old girl and seriously, we are all pretty different now from when we were 15.
At least she like to learn new stuff and ask questions, it's better than most girls her age who are incredibly dumb. Imagine what she could have become if not for GW.

Man, I never saw this turning to macroevolution, pansexuals and dinosaurs.

This.  I can't really imagine actually using any profile information for anything other than finding out whether or not she has children (I hate children).  My limited experience with the site was guided along by a simple three-step check - 1) No kids 2) Not morbidly obese 3) No unidentifiable growth sprouting from the side of her face.  After that point it's just a matter of making conversation, as every other bit of standardized information is generally superfluous.

Goddammit guys give us your weak-ass relationship stories or funny links to strange women if you're an insensitive sexist prick.

I will attempt to merge the original topic with this new discussion for giggles:

So my boss from the original story was sorta dating/fucking another of my bosses there for a while, who just so happens to be some sort of strange conglomeration of jaded pessimistic liberal ideals and typical Christian principles.  She always struck me as sort of a walking contradiction, and although she was perfectly happy with my friend she ended up traveling to Las Vegas with some lesbian from the office and crying all weekend in the hotel room because she loves him but he's too bald/ugly to bring home to mommy and daddy and he has no religious affiliation.  She came back from her vacation and proceeded to bottle up her true feelings for the guy and signed up for some sort of internship at a religious school in Kansas on a whim, leaving him to prowl the tubes for exotic bitches women and chat up hot Ukrainian chicks from the billing department via our company's internal IM.

MKK's little dissertation sorta reminded me of this, except the woman in the story is almost 30 years old now.  Just goes to show that sometimes people really can be dumb enough to let their superficial religious convictions prevent them from being truly happy with themselves or other people.

ahahahaha

I didn't read all of that because I think you mistook my post.

I'm not attacking you at all and I don't know where you got that from. I've learned to respect people with religion, though I do not respect people that don't have empathy for those that don't believe. People that won't think open mindedly about it from any side and people that think that just because they passionately believe in something, they have to spread it and share it to those that don't. Your boyfriend and her husband regardless of how they think what they think, are content with that. Now it is a shame that they don't understand what you believe (which I think you are confusing not understanding with not sharing the same passion) people don't often share the same passions. If you're looking to match up perfectly with anyone that just won't happen, ever. Be thankful that its just his faith in a higher god and your dogma and not something more earthly and harmful to your life...here...on earth...not in heaven or from god's judgement or what you believe.

Because yes, religion is faith and faith is belief. Your argument was a fallacy because you spoke of understanding abortion through facts. Religion is not fact, religion is belief, hope, and passion. You are confusing fact with belief and are trying to set in your mind that the two are the same when they're whole opposites.

I think its selfish that the both of you can't share the love you're experiencing with one another and be content with that. You can't have everything, you can't expect to share everything. Be content with what you're getting and hope for more but don't push for it because if its not meant to be it won't be.

I keep saying YOU ARE FIFTEEN because you're infact fifteen. I never said your worldview would drastically change and you'd lose your religion, but you will infact grow. I'm still growing to this day and I try harder than anything not to get too ahead of myself. Live young and take what comes to you, stop trying to get ahead of yourself.
The prescription drug problems you keep going on about, you're concern with a young boy you're with burning in eternal hellfire, you're worry about death you mentioned here and there. You're getting ahead of yourself. These things you don't need to worry about and you don't need to bother yourself with. I'm not trying to be condescending about it, I'm trying to tell you to be a kid while you're a kid. If you keep trying to live and think like an adult you're going to have a shit childhood and look back pissed off you didn't enjoy yourself while you were still young and free.

I never said you couldn't fall in love because you're a kid, I imagine you are in love. But don't let that get ahead of you either, your future is very important and do not spoil or taint it because you want to fall in love now. Love, sure but don't do anything stupid because of it while you're young that will ruin your future because guess what? Its gonna happen and you've got to be strong and smart enough to not fuck up.

all in high school and also what the hell is etc? That scares me.
Seriously where are you that there are that many "deviants" in one school and they are all what, 14-18?
That's crazy

PS(ontopic) I might try this newfangled internet dating stuff because there are only about 120 girls on this campus and most of them are taken or here to have sex with as many basketball players as possible so not really my type. Too young for bars yet so really my options are limited :(

does anyone here actually go to bars to meet women? I'm 22 but I don't, it seems like a bad idea. how about other places though? like exhibitions or museums.
