It's the one I just posted.

haha I remember that one, his pop songs are so weird but then again I'd probably be pretty much like that if I tried to make a 'normal' song with lyrics and all. When I think of Eno I think all ambient chillout every song title is about water/boating in some way

ahahaha has anyone done that, somebody somewhere please make a 3D game by somehow modding like BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS HOME DESIGNER engine one of those random programs they sell at Staples and stuff. I almost bought one of these 10 million years ago in 1997 because I thought it would be cool to just make a living room for no reason

man I remember playing with software like this as a kid and you could scale objects and I would just make houses full of things with really WRONG proportions

Quote
“The increase in rapes can be attributed in large part to the playing out of [sexual] scenes in video games,” she said.

Can you just add words like that to quotes?

I thought so? Like if someone actually said "my hometown" but they write Milwaukee or whatever to clarify for the reader

you can if it's what the person was saying, so it depends on if the person they quoted was actually talking about that

Whoa, I actually understood what Ragnar was getting at! Huh, the Weekly World News is still around?

And Gaia has changed much over the years.  They even have an MMO now!

I originally logged on 'cause I just realized the reason  the Pokémon anime keeps Ash instead of changing characters like the games do is because he acts as a guide to the Pokémon world.

From what I understand, it's up to a simple majority next time, and considering how many assholes voted in favor just now, it's inevitable. Fuck your privacy.

I might have posted about this before but I keep seeing those "If you can read this thank a teacher, if it's in English thank a soldier" bumper stickers.  The only way this makes sense is if you lump all foreigners/NONWHITES together.  The whole "oh no English is threatened" thing has always been about Mexicans and the fact that a lot of things can be found in Spanish in the U.S.  Yet the soldier bit is obviously about us being at war.  How does this make any sense unless you just have a category in your brain for OTHER and you lump Mexicans and middle eastern people and more or less everyone that's not American/white into that.  Like how would you see that bumper sticker and go "THAT'S RIGHT, I BELIEVE THIS AND LET ME PUT IT ON MY CAR" with any other frame of mind?

Yeah I was astounded until I read it was put up for vote in a manner that would have required a 2/3rd majority to vote on it.

People are in an uproar! Turns out the media coverage is misleading in anything being mandatory: http://www.mansfieldisd.org/departments/communications/news/10-11/february/arabicgrant.htm

soldiers: keeping america free (from the french). if you guys didn't have soldiers the rest of the world would waltz right into your cesspool and make you speak something else. it hasn't always been about spanish but it is pretty funny considering the ethnic make up of the U.S. army
