the yahoo answers thing is a joke, but concerning the Georgia invasion I had an argument about it with Marcus and Mog (what was mog's username again?). they insisted it was "ok" to think russia invaded the state and mog compared georgia to burkina faso.

I saw it on quite a few sites, and there were a few other guys on here as well that thought it as well. I think someone here said something along the lines of 'how are we supposed to know about a small country in europe!?!?'

I think this is slightly more significant. From what I hear the European tabloids constantly run articles about the cancer-preventing potential of whatever food or product containing antioxidants, but this seems to be a deliberately engineered strain of a virus that specifically targets cancer cells and probably warrants attention and further study.

does anyone want to make a game with me

i'm some ways to coding a sort of OREGON TRAIL type engine and have been wanting to make a TWISTED version of it for ages and replaying bonkey trek recently has only spurred that on

however i only have an original idea like once every year and am struggling to come up with ideas

i do know i kind of want the graphics made with ms paint black+white/OLD MAC PAINT, you know, that sort of style

and a journey across a desert

i think i am approaching this completely the wrong way.. perhaps i'll knock a few back and hope to wake up the next day with a mad hangover and a decent game waiting on-screen..

catamites knows mac paint aesthetic better than me, maybe he can suggest some ideas. oregon trail with soda cans, electric guitars and decked-out hot rods. actually no you'd need primary colors to do that

i'm not even sure why i picked that mac paint aesthetic for this game, i just think that sort of feel would really work for something like this. lots of menus and the game basically taking place over a series of backgrounds and static characters rather than an interactive environment or whatever. just playing about with what i have so far, i'm really gravitating towards that aesthetic.

or mainly because i've been desperate to make a game with that look since seeing that mac playground website and the uno moralez stuff

I could experiment with a soundtrack for said game

it would be very Frog World though (different in some way though, like occupying a different headspace from Frog World)
