I love Cristina and the berserk Don Was production on that album, the first time i heard Whats A Girl To Do i was horrified by the sound of the bright plastic childrensmusic tapes i had as a kid being somehow mutated into malevolent neon disco...

so is every commercial on TV terrifying, or am I just slowly losing my mind, or have they always been terrifying and I'm just catching up, or a little bit of both

but yeah i'm also a little freaked out by things like new Saturday Night Live episodes where they used to have these still photos of the actors/musicians with hipster color treatment but now they MOVE but only sometimes so you can never be sure
