Are there any open fascist bands that accidentally wrote songs promoting tolerance/
this blog is probably something stupid but yeah it did enough homework, Maya the Bee was originally some nazi propaganda
http://nwioqeqkdf.blogspot.com/2016/08/from-nazi-to-sjw-evolution-of-maya-bee.htmlbut that's not really the same thing as 'accidentally', that's more your thing about creating a weird version of a thing society sells to you
Edit:
https://subaqueous.bandcamp.com/album/shatter-spell this was one of the ones that pissed me off, album trying to suggest you can channel psytrance vibez to explod illuminati temples with ur mind? Or something. Probably at least a few of the customers honestly believe that
I don't think there's a single case of "psytrance band that secretly hates 95% of its audience/fans" you know, like Radiohead probably is. It would either be too hard or too easy of an audience, wanting to fake-please the audience
Edit: and then how much of the fanbase is teenager-ish? At least teenagers sort of have some leeway to believe stupid shit. I did think The Matrix was a crazzyzyzy movie at the time, but mostly because it's sorta 'unprovable' thing? Maybe confronting unprovability can be healthy if done right, even if I were religious now I'd steer away from the supernatural stuff, vehemently say the bible was just written by some dudes and not beamed down from heaven, etc.
Edit: I mentioned this thread but forgot to post
https://forum.watmm.com/topic/94934-sounds-influence-on-brain-chemistry/anyone who says 'colundi', that's an album some guy did as a parody of 432 hz and weird tunings that are supposed to do stuff to your brain. So yeah this forum I think is a constant war between BELIEVERS and other forum members going under the radar pretending to believe. But some people in turn might be sold on the colundi thing when that album was very intentionally a parody? aaaaaaaaaaaaa
Edit: ahaha, guy on the 2nd page is almost formulating an argument against binaural beats that a layman can understand
this isn't technically psytrance or something but getting close
https://sourcevibrations1.bandcamp.com/musicoh btw HEALING used to describe music, I think I already said it but probably less detectable kook term than 432 hz but might be just as important? Ask them to define "healing", becomes a pandora's box of insanity
there was one bandcamp that was really interesting to me, they actually probably went all out with a modular synth to produce whatever frequencies these people are obsessed with, and the music was supposed to resonate with nature and maybe even the albums were themed that way ACTUAL ROCK MUSIC (RESONATES WITH ROCKS), and first of all the music didn't sound 'natural' at all, even creepy? It was an interesting situation, I think the guy had a Patreon too or some other way of getting fundz but doesn't necessarily mean he was scamming people, he might've honestly believed his own thingy with the music? Neo of psybient
this just got posted

it's not that close but isn't "regression to childhood" still way too close to 'orgasm'. Also prayer
looks like it's from the 80s. It's always a tract/printout from the 80s
are the rings around the circle the 11 dimensions thing again. Is everyone who thinks there are 11 dimensions just a mandela effect of something jerry garcia said once/forgetting where they heard '11' and thought it was significant
also obsession with destroying the ego. Punkz had egos and they got way more shit done. What if merely wanting to eat and stay alive is 'ego' technically. What now psytrance guys
makes psytrance concept album that is secretly glorifying the ego, not even necessarily sincere belief just to annoy people
I also had a phase like a month or two ago where I just said 'psytrance is racist' a lot of places. Like it's a weird situation, a lot of psytrance glorifies shamanic cultures n shit, but in some ways it's like, the situation is a lot of these guys are European, and maybe dangerously promoting anti-technology to some third world countries? Like for the sake of some wet dream that the cultures were more 'pure' or something? Psytrance is actually 'international' but I think it's more white than at first glance still. Psytrance producers in Africa but South Africa, etc. Then there are Japanese psytrance producers but you've got the other side of the coin there, still a first world country. I REALLY want to find out if Goa, India was a resort town from the start, because I think it's BECOME that way now? But maybe it developed into a tourist destination out of psytrance people making pilgrimages there
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourism_in_Goalol that one Jason Bourne movie where he was hiding out in Goa, it's actually not a low-key secret agent-type place to hide out at all maybe? Jason Bourne fights off dudes with shaky cam in the middle of a Goa rave party
but yeah I at least got someone on Youtube to hear my point that "it has the potential to become a caricature very quickly" at least
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DGORN4xSGI&lc=z235ypkylq2cxrul1acdp433kr5lqktj1c40a30arhpw03c010c.1523764343172282here, just read the comment chain, I start off a little mean by saying it's pretty proven that even shaman stuff has incidents of abuse, so you can't argue 'purity' that way... who's to say it wouldn't do a catholic church style cover-up if it were more mainstream all of a sudden
but yeah outside of the youtube I'd probably argue a lot of psytrance fans have "magical negro"-type sentiments, and if they actually knew that term they would feel a little embarrassed? (or maybe not, too high to get embarrassed). Like some album art has a spooky tone and I get worried is this 'dark continent' imagery?
and that youtube pic is definitely reminiscent of early killer instinct games lol
Edit: the shaman abuse actually sounded pretty scary, like those people who have hypno fetish online, this is the closest thing to it in real life and it's not something you would 'want' at all, in real life? It sounded like, temporary amnesia that the woman actually had feelings for the shaman when she didn't?, type situation. But yeah it's the whole nine yards, that psychedelic stuff people take was literally used as the rape drug
Edit: I don't think it's that bad in the psytrance scene, but there's definitely possibility of it being like Sheva's unlocked costume in Resident Evil 5, mostly just fetishizing it as 'looking cool', as a literal fetish is a possibility, trying to make it 'deeper' than something shallow like that
Edit: also there is shaman stuff native to Europe, like in Scandinavia for one thing. But it isn't as 'cool' a theme for your epic psytrance album
