It comes off as very socially dysfunctional dude. Which is bizarre coming from me because my IRL history is full of being a socially dysfunctional person.

Technically, you probably also aren't lying about not intending to be offensive. But you were in fact offensive, and should apologise for your mistake and at least attempt to curb you behavior. you don't have to go cold turkey of course just try to think before you post. "Road to hell is paved with good intentions" and all that.

Vellfire's response wasn't anywhere near 'dragon lady' level anyway. Just general 'pissed off lady' which was perfectly understandable. Especially, considering the exhaustive/exhausting discussion that preludes this.

I'm tempted to talk about determinism now but I'm worried in this argument/discussion it'd just... well... nevermind.

You can admit this, yet not bring up that this very fault of yours has caused a problem and that it should be apologized for? Or are you suggesting it as an excuse? As in "its not my fault! I'm socially dysfunctional!" That isn't very practical or logical. Determinism shouldn't be used as a crutch in matters like this. (as much as I like determinism overall)

Let's just say, DDay, that your picture post was ill-timed. I'll admit I'd gotten a bit steamed up as well, forgetting that Vell's fight against misogyny and mine against homophobia are really two facets of the same thing, not two separate issues each of us has a monopoly on combating. So I suggest we ALL take a breather.

And one more question . . .
Does it really matter who started it or who said what when? If preserving your friendship is indeed what's most important, it might be time to set aside everything and start afresh.

Everyone has the right to be himself; wise men know how to,when, and whether to navigate the boundary between their rights and those of others when they collide.

I don't feel I did wrong she might of not liked my gif. But this world if full of shit like that. We all get offended and i will never care how many are in the corner pointing telling me I'm wrong. It will not change for being me.

Anyway we all get offended on different thing hell if I tried to hide myself form all the thing that offend me I would be some hermit. But I Learn to deal.

Both of you, stop it! DDay, stop being defensive; while it may seem to you that you've done nothing wrong, the other person might see the situation differently. Vell, please try to calm down- staying angry isn't going to improve anything.

I'm not suggesting that anyone pretend it never happened- such a thing is impossible- but that it's possible to move on. That's really what forgiveness is about- not absolving the other person of wrong but breaking our own entanglements with the feelings keeping us trapped.
