A) Hundley, he's mysterious and I'm also a writer so I'd like to learn from another writer. Either that or someone like DS who lives in a country completely foreign to my own. Either that or a particularly nerdy member because I have no idea what that life is like and I'd like to experience whether it is fun for them or just incredibly lonesome.

Q) Do you have any phobias?

Yes, bees and wasps. Basically any flying stinging insect. can't stand to be in the same room as them... or when out in the open, closer than 100 feet.

If you had the option to give someone (other than yourself) a super power, what would the power be and who would get it?

Q) if you could be re-incarnated into an animal, what would it be
a: intestinal parasite

q: if you were totally a shitty person in your current life and were told that you were going to be reincarnated right now(THIS VERY MINUTE) as an intestinal parasite, but could choose who your host would be, whose GI tract would you select and why?

Car Combat Video Games in the vein of Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal.

Reason: I love the genre and very few of these games are made because there isn't a big enough audience and video games are expensive to make. Niche music gets made and is arguably plentiful regardless of audience size in this age of the internet and my interest in TV and movie genres admittedly largely fall in the mainstream tastes anyway.

Do you own a pet? what kind? and why or why not?

A) It's been a long time since I've actually seen it but TORQUE is a very special movie to me.  Also YOU GOT SERVED is incredible and its spiritual successor Boogie Town looks a million times better.

Q) What's your planned career path?  Or where do you see yourself in five years?  Obviously I need responses for this question fo future job interviews so make 'em good

torque is a work of art. the director treated it as a joke and most of the actors were in on it except ice cube who apparently took the role seriously and thought he was making a genuine action movie.

(if you don't want to watch the entire clip make sure you at least skip to 4:00 and watch the motorcycle duel between pepsi and mountain dew)

whenever I think of torque, the motorcycle fight is the first thing I think of.  specifically the mountain dew/pepsi shots.  those images are ingrained in my brain forever

Not sure! I dropped from best university and now resumed as a first year irregular on some college trying to just get a degree on Computer Engineering. I was actually thinking that if I ever go on with this course that I must take a Masteral afterwards to open up more career opportunities. Also, recently Law has been quite an interest for me but I don't think it's something I'd pursue seriously so that's one of the "I would've wanted to be like this as well" jobs for me.
In 5 years that would 2017. I'm not really sure, Hopefully I'm already a graduate and know much more now and have done more things anfd finished everything I have currently planned. (making a webomic, stories, music, etc..)
I don't think this would help for you though in answering interviews, just bullshit your way through an interview and be as charming as possible ;) It's not entirely what you say but how you say it.

Question: What is an interest/philosophy/belief of yours which you're pretty sure the general SW population wouldn't like or agree with.

I'm a RELIGIOUS MAN actually, even if the faith I follow is actually considered pretty liberal in RELIGIOUSITY terms nowadays. Most people here are pretty non-religious, and there've been a few in the past who've been actively discriminatory on the basis of my faith. Thankfully more people are coming around to the idea that religious doesn't automatically mean homophobic, misogynistic douchebag  now, so HOORAY.

It's actually pretty ironic that back in the day it was me and a few others arguing against tons of homophobic teenage Christians around these parts, and now in many circles it's NEW ATHEISTS fighting me. Like weirdly, the most oppressed I've been regarding my non-discriminatory beliefs has been at a gay videogamer forum (gaygamer), which I thought pretty ironic at the time.

ENOUGH SELF PITY, ON WITH THE QUESTIONS:

What's your favourite period of history, and why? BONUS POINTS if you can recommend a good book on the topic!!

Hey hey hey

oh dang i love history!! it's hard to choose a favorite era... but hmmm i really like reading about the holocaust. it's horrifying and interesting stuff. of course, it's not a period which i would want to live in ._. but reading/hearing stories from survivors is amazing. i loved the novel Night and the comic Maus, which are both about the true experiences of specific Jewish people who lived through terrible conditions in WW2 Germany.
i also like Victorian era Britain, probably because i'm such a fan of the original Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as well as other stories set in (or from) that period (such as Sweeney Todd and the anime Black Butler).
and Heian period Japan, because of the great literature/poetry/mythology and cultural developments that came out of those times.

P.S. i totally understand the stuff you mentioned about religion, and i've had similar experiences. of course, i also once WAS a homophobic Christian kid, but that stemmed largely from self-hate and repression. and once i got over the discriminatory views, i still remained Christian (Quaker, as you know). there's a lot of atheist people nowadays who are very generalizing, intolerant, and confrontational about religion, and they act like their lack of religion makes them inherently smart and good and progressive, which of course it doesn't. i'm very thankful for people of all beliefs who are accepting of others' beliefs.

Q: what is the meaning of life??? (at least, for you personally)
semper games.

Getting the most pleasure/happiness out of it and possibly living long enough to see it indefinitely extended (one can hope). 'Side missions' are to make other's lives better if I'm capable or willing to sacrifice a bit. (I'm not exactly selfless, but I'm not outright selfish either)

As for the topic of religion, as a Atheist Agnostic, I don't recognize being one as being smarter or morally/ethically better or anything like that. I don't think religious people are stupid. I think they are either naive or brainwashed. (No offense meant! But I suppose there are those that would be...)

There are plenty of stupid atheists and agnostics. Likely in equal amounts as religious people. And those that are amoral are also likely in roughly equal number between the 2 groups.

The issue at hand for me when it comes to those that are religious though tends to vary. There does tend to be more homophobes that are religious for instance, but obviously you guys are not. My issue with you then would be more philosophical in nature than social or practical. With perhaps the exception of (the thing I mention earlier) life extension:

Being religious (thus likely believing in god or some form of life after death), if humanity discovered a cure for aging, and it was cheap/affordable, would you take it? What if there was a way to make you completely undying? If a loved one asked you to become undying with them perhaps? or maybe you'd even deny someone you cared about from becoming undying as perhaps you thought it would be horrible for them (even though they said they wanted it)?

All of this might end up not mattering. We may never cure aging, let alone become undying within a near enough time frame.

BTW those were not my questions for the game topic! but feel free to answer them! (in fact please do)

Cliche question but a good one: If you were stranded on a remote island and could take 1 book to read, 1 video game (and a system and power source to play it on), 1 movie to watch (again with the proper equipment to view it), and 1 music album (for the third time, with something to listen to it on) what would they be?

A: Book: Jack Kirby's Omac delux edition. LOL KAWORU PICKS A COMIC. It's prettymuch one of the most out there and bizarre things around, but it's a great example of Comics at their best, and the kind of book where you still keep discovering strange ideas and things after fifty reads. Well, either that or Timothy Leary's 'The Psychedelic Experience' which is a pretty cool spiritual primer.
Video Game: Most likely Fallout 3 or Skyrim
Movie: Batman XXX A Porn Parody for obvious reasons...
Album: Miles Davis & John Coltrane the complete columbia studio recordings (6 disk boxset) Apart from the whole length deal, it contains such beautiful music and alternate takes, plus Miles Davis in 1959 is arguably one of the most perfect sounds you can ever hear, and I just love drifting away to a dreamworld to his stuff. If a boxset is somehow classed as cheating, then the original '59 press of Kind of Blue will be my choice, it's the best sounding version(in terms of space and depth of sound, clarity and warmth) of the best sounding album around, and has such a purity in tone, and encompases so many emotions and feelings.
eerrrp need to remember, this is a salt mine, and not a music blog... ok question time:

Q.What charity do you most actively help out/support?
a: so after several days i think i can conclude that this killed the topic, probably due to the fact that the entire SW community are selfish, jaded fucks. so i will respond in the voice of the community:

I DO NOT SUPPORT A CHARITY I AM A SELFISH, JADED FUCK.

(answerer's note: this is totally not just me answering the question in a way to simultaneously confirm and evade this perma-malaise that i've had since early childhood development)

q: tell me about a great time you had with one of your aunts or uncles that did not involve the theft of $100,000 or severe testicular damage. if you are not able to do this, tell me about a great time you had with one of your aunts or uncles that involved the theft of $100,000 or severe testicular damage.
