Here is my request:
Once when I was like 11 my father decided to go to Blockbuster without me (I think he had a date or something) to rent some movies and a videogame for me for the weekend. He came back with a game I hadn't heard of (or since!) which looked lame as hell, but actually turned out to be a pretty cool game.
It was a SNES game set in space with you piloting some sort of spaceship. I remember a map grid of space too, which was huge, and a lot of the gameplay involved looking at the map to find other spaceships. The main game view was really fake 3D, set just behind the spaceship. Also there was speaking and missions and shit. I had it for like two days, but played it solidly, yet oddly cannot remember jack shit about it except for these details.
Man, reading this shit back this sounds way too vague. This probably sounds like millions of games. I can't even remember what the title sounded remotely like, but I imagine there was an X in it. Lame.
