This in my opinion gives this game endless replay value. Not only is this game a guarenteed release day purchase for me now (in fact I'm gonna go pre-order it today) but I now HAVE to get a high-speed internet connection at home. I mean before fighting against people online didn't have much meaning for me. But with the variety brought on by the custom stages people will make... whoa that's something I HAVE to experience.

Hmm... I wonder if you'll be able to make Adventure Mode stages too?

Wow. Did anyone request this? I didn't see anyone with STAGE BUILDER USER tags in their sig.

How rude that they add stuff that doesn't have 6000+ votes!
Well I've always believed that every game should have a stage builder if it's possible (I actually thought about something like this back when you all were talking about how cool it would be of you could draw your own stage using a DS on the Pictochat stage) so I would have requested it but I never expected something like this would actually make it in.

Wow, what an amazing update. Seriously. Now even if you hate the layouts of all of the premade stages, you'll be able to make your own to suit your needs. How awesome. And you can save them on SD cards...

As of now, it looks simple and there doesn't seem to be too many things you can add to it. What is cool is that you can add moving and stationary platforms. I hope they consider adding new floors, features, and structures but even if they don't I'd be more than satisfied.

Brawl is going to be amazing.

This update is kind of "meh" for me. Don't get me wrong, I love level editors - it's why I loved Tony Hawk and am currently in love with Trackmania.

I just hope it has some depth. It doesn't look like much of a level editor from what they've shown. What I mean to say is that it doesn't look that powerful.

He seems uncertain about the precise WiFi services with the level editor.  It is my theory that the delay had to do with WiFi stuff - organizing, adding, features.  I think the game is finished, but Nintendo wants to push lots of WiFi features, which is somewhat new ground and is outside the scope of the in house development team.

Agreed. I bet all the characters were all ready pre-planned before they added the poll.

"However, the plan is for that stage to vanish once one day has passed. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime encounter."

So, if its a really good stage, you can't keep it? Lame :(

That's very misleading. Only the ones you get randomly from the internet will disappear after a day, not EVERY map you make, just fyi.

what?  no that would be stupid since the main point of the game is that you're fighting with established characters.  making your own character would kinda be missing the point!

on the other hand if they let you play as your Mii character that would actually be pretty cool!
