i think a herd of pikmin controller by olimar in the background would be cool. kind of like the pokemon trainer, only its a whole herd of pikmin and they dont change.

only problem is they are tiny. oh well.

I kind of assumed they were talking about players being able to play computer opponents in the tournament mode. What you posted makes sense too though. Hopefully you're right. It'd be nice to see something like this online, and even though I'm not a fan of the standard tournament mode (I like best two out of three), I'd gladly welcome the new feature.

If it does get implemented though, that'd make arranging a GW tourney much easier.

Oh, and has anyone else noticed how they increased the maximum name size from 4 to 5 letters? That makes me pretty happy.

I agree with Miles, Joe would be freakin' sweet. Also Megaman would be cooler than Sonic imo, and Simon Belmont also.

Today's update was just meh. Nothing big.

I'd imagine his slow/speed/ would only be specific to himself, like slowing his rate of fall to avoid being hit by a projectile or something

Yeah, exactly. I think he might have a Down-B similar to Marth's or Ike's or something, where he momentarily dodges, though, instead of countering. That'd be pretty cool. Also obviously he should have a 'close-up' move or something like that, as a powerful attack maybe? I dunno, but he sure would be an interesting character!

Did anyone see a Mega Man or Sonic head in that one Tourney screenshot? Eh?

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they added Captain N as a trophy.

I looked at all of them, and sadly, no.

According to Japanese wholesale retailers (who are supposedly right on with info like this), Nintendo is having some sort of conference in Tokyo on October 10th (http://gonintendo.com/?p=25103#comments) where they are supposed to give out info on their upcoming lineup. They're also signed up for E for All (which takes place October 18-21) as a "primary exhibitor" where participants will be able to sample a large variety of games and buy them at the event (http://wii.ign.com/articles/776/776889p1.html). We're bound to see some Brawl info in at least one of these events.

I can't wait to see a video of a real-time Brawl match and hopefully, within the next 20 days, I'll be able to do so.
