holy shit YES
he was the only reason I played SimCity on the SNES this is fucking awesome
Anyway... I played a bit of this... And I'm not so fond of the setting. I hate that whole ghetto "gangsta fo life" thing, and I've never been much of a baseball player.

Awesome, but we need more playable character updates :(

I suppose when you're doing literally 5 updates a week, you need some filler content in there.

I still find it dissapointing. The reason why I liked it was that they were giving us some good infromation frequently. Now it's kinda meh.

Well at least now I can rest easy knowing how the standard combos work now.

Especially considering you need to leave enough to surprise the player when he actually gets the game.

They are building up to an announcement of Megaman as a PC.  I can feel it.

You can't really expect them to be releasing the good information on the daily website updates mere days from Nintendo's E3 presentation, can you?

Donkey Kong was briefly visible in the E3 footage so he's likely to be officially confirmed soon.

Man, I was so pumped after seeing this guy. I thought he was an actual controllable character but it looks like he isn't. If he was, I would use absolutely nobody else.

I like that they're bringing bumpers back, those things were so much fun in the old game, despite the minimal amount of damage they did...
I hope to hear a lot of chnk chnk chnk chnk when I play this game...

I wish they included Simon, Trevor, Richter, Julius, Alucard or some other Castlevania character that has appeared on a Nintendo console. *Sigh*

If they DO, though, it'll most probably be Simon, and if it will be Simon (that is, if they make the desicion to include him) I hope they have him in his Chronicles outfit. He looks so cool in that.

EDIT: Also maybe a Castlevania themed level with the theme of the character decided playing in it...that, along with what I said above, would make me have orgasm.

They should have both Simon and Alucard. And Dracula.

And then they could have a Castlevania level where you fight Dracula as a boss in adventure mode.

But I doubt it'll happen. ;(

Holy fuck that would be INCREDIBLE. And if they included original music (Dance of Illusions, Theme of Simon etc.) and original voices (from SotN for the father and son) it would be even better.

But yeah, I doubt it as well.

Ah man, I wish this was true for Castlevania as well!

And if they actually do include the stuff I want about Castlevania, then I WILL buy a WII just for that. Of course, I could always buy a GC version, but WII is better so...

It would be pretty great if some Castlevania characters like Simon or Alucard were playable, yeah. :|

Plus whoo! December 3rd. Joy of joys.

New fifteen-second gameplay video.  Not much, but I'm really glad they decided to give it a release date (please don't be indian givers, Nintendo.)

Ffff, I want a release date for us lowly southerners. Well, at least we know SOMETHING about the release. The video is kind of cool, and now we no about Donkey Kong too--I almost missed that update.

Yeah, me too. I'm a little disappointed; I was hoping for a fall release so there wouldn't be a Christmas craze and such. Oh well. The video's great, though!

This is actually the first Smash game to make me excited about it. I'm really wanting to play it NOW. But that excitment (and desire to play it) will be quadrupled if my wishes come true!

Haha, latest update...
The new level is pretty lame but man, how many of us will be playing this game on Saturday at 8pm? :P
They're focusing more on level effects instead of focusing on the actual shape of the level itself which is a bit of a let-down...

Like, Fox's Ship from N64 and Hyrule from Melee were awesome levels because of how well they were designed, but now most of the levels we are seeing are just flat platforms with floating flat platforms...

I agree. Most stages aren't part of the scenery like in Melee. These stages are just platforms against the background.
