I don't know about this, because as I've stated before I'm not overly well-known in the community. I might be interested in coming though, but not the last week of October (Hellgate: London!!!!!). In the event I do decide to come I have a go-mobile (car) with room for 4 others.
No one knows me, but I still went to Britmeat and had fun. You'll be fine.

About an hour from Detroit.  I could bring Ninja Pirate and Marmot - since apparently they go to the same college as me wtf?! :woop: :woop:
I'm not in college :X but I do live about 1 hr from East Lansing (lol metro Detroit) but yea like I said before there is a 100% chance that my parents won't let me meet scary people from the internet, so maybe next year.

Also guys you should get mkkmypet to go, she lives on the Huron coast or something.

Cool.  Yeah, if you could get to either London or Hamilton then I'm sure we can get you a spot in a vehicle.  It is byob, but it might be better to buy it when we get to the meet to save on space.  I'm not totally sure yet as we haven't finalized car/driving plans.

I don't want to openly say BYOB because I usually keep the house relatively well-stocked- it's a force of habit. But if there is anything special you want you'll have to bring it. As a rule I usually don't keep rum or gin in the house and there are almost always no wine coolers or specialty bottled drinks. I have loads of homebrew wine but I wouldn't give that stuff to my worst enemy. I usually keep the house stocked with munchies, too but you're more than welcome to bring anything you like. Again, I am willing to cook if going out to eat isn't an option. I'll put together a more detailed list of places to eat when I have time, just so you all get an idea of what's around here.

Well, I doubt I can pull this one off but I checked out ticket prices anyway. Financially, I can definitely do this. With a couple deals and ordering a ticket way in advance I can get a really good deal on a round trip, and I might even be able to get my dad to pay since he felt bad I didn't get to go last time.

The thing is, this is for a ticket to Detroit. So right now I'd be stuck there without anyway to get to the meet. I dunno if post still plans on attending, but if he is maybe I could carpool (but that's Michigan vs Michigan St. so probably not). Also, I'd either arrive in Detroit on Nov 1st or Nov 2nd so I'd maybe need to burn a day there or something.

Also, I'm not going to have a passport so if the law has changed already I'm screwed. Anyone know for sure about traveling across the border in a car?

So yeah this is up in the air but I'd love to finally make it to Canada

If you are a US citizen then you won't need a passport until 2008. You will need a government issued piece of photo ID (driver's license) and your birth certificate and/or naturalization papers.

Dude, check out ticket prices to Leamington, Ontario or to Windsor, Ontario. It would save you from having to burn a day in Detroit.

EDIT: Apparently, if you buy far enough in advance the ticket prices are all the same, no matter if you go to Detroit, Windsor or Leamington. But if you wait Greyhound will charge you through the nose.

Oops. My mistake, I think I said something in an older thread. I'm not completely sure.
I'm up for doing this though, haha.

Alright, so is there a time / address nailed down? I'll probably need to sell my shift for the day. Should I bring anything, y'know, gamewise?

If you really want to.  I usually supply the games, and we only ever seem to play Karaoke Revolution anyways.  But if you've got some good party games then feel free to bring them along.
