also most reviews from people who do not care about this shit (ie pretty much everyone else) says its basically the same game. thanks for this capcom. and thanks this thread for rewarding them for never changing anything. monopolo 2, december 09.
Might sound crazy but this is what most people have wanted for forever. All the new fighting games that are being made, bar maybe the Virtua Fighter series, have been so retarded and full of bullshit mechanics that normal people just can't play them anymore. As a result the fighting game community has died out totally. Every fighter ever made since '98 has been aimed at hardcore audiences.
I see what you mean since this game is pretty much SF2 with 3D graphics and some new characters, but that's pretty much the game everyone has wanted for years. However, not because
hey I cant wait to play Ryu and Ken again for the thousandt time but because it is a simple fighting game that people can pick up and play and have fun right off the bat with, which hasnt been true for any fighting game since '98. The way the game plays is fun and the mechanics work. The game has 6 buttons, a move list of about 3-5 moves per character and no fancy subsystems you need to learn to play. If you want new stuff why not look at Tatsunoko vs Capcom that features 100ft jumps, giant robots, about 10 meters/gauges per player cluttering the screen, and 100hit combos.
do you really think you, one consumer, buying one game, affects a corporation like capcom at all. every single member of gw could pirate this game and then give a copy to their friend and capcom would not be affected at all.
Ya I want more street fighter games so therefore i'll buy them instead of pirate them. I'm doing my part to get them to make an SFV sometime ever, now all you need is for the other 1,000,000 people to do that as well.
Also Nightblade, the SF4 MadCatz fightsticks
are good. Well mine hasnt arrived yet but from what I hear they are genuinely good. The regular one for $80ish seems like one of the best sticks you'll get for that money right now.
