So do you guys think the Japanese updates will be different from the other languages?
Also, I can't understand why they would basically get rid of 3 clones, and add 3 new ones. The original moveset was the only good thing about Ness, and they went and fucked it up by adding a clone.
Also, 2 clones of Fox?! WTF! I'm positive NOBODY is that die hard of a Starfox fan that they'd want 2 clones of him.
I guess I'm a little pissed that I got my wii with this game in mind, and basically got screwed. I mean, I understand how irrational it is to buy a console for one specific game, but I was totally down for every minute of it until the last 3 or 4 characters were revealed.
Ain't that a bitch.
They aren't direct clones. For example,
Falco can throw his reflector.
Wolf's pistol is much different than the others, his A attacks are different, I think smashes are different, and his up is different as well. His FS is also not what everyone thinks it is (for now at least). That picture is photoshopped so there's no evidence of it being the same. We'll find out more about that starting tomorrow when all of Japan gets the game.
Think of it this way. The only cuts were
Dr. Mario, Pichu, Roy, and Mewtwo, with Mewtwo having the only original moveset. In exchange we got
Diddy Kong, DeDeDe, Ike, Lucas, Lucario, Meta Knight, Pit, Pokemon Trainer, ROB, Olimar, Snake, Sonic, Wario, Wolf, and Zero Suit Samus.
The only reason people are upset is because the Dojo already announced most of the characters before the last few were leaked. Think about how much more excited you'd be if the only characters you'd seen before today were Mario, Samus, Pikachu, and Link. You'd be so happy about Meta Knight, Snake, Sonic, Dedede, Olimar, and all the rest. We've all just been spoiled by the Dojo and now the roster doesn't seem that impressive. When you think about it though, it's much better than Melee's was. It'll be a great game and trust me, you won't regret buying your Wii.
Watch the movie that was added to the dojo today. Definitely made me anxious.
