- GW Uploader will not work or let you login if you were logged off on the old Gamingw.net domain. This will be fixed as soon as these forums are back on Gamingw.net - Fixed, thanks rami
- Some issue with user avatars and permissions, these will be fixed later today.

Last night, I decided to finally make the change to a new server, possibly!

I made some calls, and here we are. Anyways, straight to the questions:

GameCake.net is a domain I registered for fun use. Do not worry about it, ever.

Will GW always now be under Gamecake.net
No, this is only temporary until I move the DNS over, which takes a few days.

This server isn't much faster ...
I AM TESTING THIS SERVER OUT. I dropped some cash on it in an effort to get things going. Think of it as an investment! If this server works well for the GW Forums we will keep it

This one is a bit weird and different and it's kind of hard to give exact specs do not worry about that

Testing uploader

I have noticed several things which I doubt are my fault because everything worked find yesterday!

1) Custom icons, like those Mr. Crumply has, are displayed at the wrong location on the page. Right now, his four pac-ghosts are somewhere in your post, Bart, instead of their usual location next to his name. I have noticed this every icon I have seen.

2) No smilies?

3) Cannot login to uploader (although admittedly it seems to be working).
