After watching the YouTube video and reading this thread I'm going to skip out on this lame ass attempt at comedy. Why are you all praising this?
It really isn't fun... or funny. Do I have to be black, or in basket ball to get it? "BASKET BALL WAS BANNED LOL it's funny becouse like, basket ball is a peaceful sport but here it isn't hu-uh, the laughter we will have - here's some more text!" It's a take on jRPGs via Basketball... it's the kind of humor you'd find in a bad movie like "Meet the Spartans." Instead of the "flavor of the month" joke it plays on elements of stupid RPGs, great. It's the kinda of bland humor you'd find on SA. The humor is just not presented in a way I would enjoy. No, you are doing it wrong. Replace "here's some more text!" with "Here is another line of unfunny fiction" I enjoy written jokes as much as the next guy, it's not the medium.

Why do so many people think they need to be a negro or into Basketball in order to like this game? You just need to accept the game for what it is, an RPG based on Basketball with a very good storyline.

Unfortunately, it won't be in PCPP for a couple months. I just sent it off yesterday, and it will be in issue 150... 148 is on the shelves at the moment.

I wish it was in the next issue, then you could all see my awesome Marathon article. Oh well. Anyway, I'd be happy to send it to you, but as I said elsewhere, I only had 50 words to talk about it! You also share space with two other freeware games. Still, there is a screenshot and it will indeed be on the disk. I'll also autograph the cover for you! Woo!

I just signed up to comment about this game. I finished it. I didn't come here to praise the game, while it is good, I came because of the save point monologues.
They were very annoying and I found myself skipping past all of them after about 4. So what if other people play madden. What is that to you. Why the hell are you bothered?
Just because you like one type of game doesn't mean the whole world has to. I personally hate jrpgs. The last on I played was pokemon 8 years ago. My favorite rpg of all time is Knights of the Old Republic. But I still enjoyed your game (Even though its apparent you know nothing about basketball.) I like this game, but you're an asshole.

Also, WHAT THE HELL IS A VIDCON?????????
