Haha, that review was hilarious man.

As for Brickroad, uhhhh... The game should sort of sell itself man. I feel for him and all but if a game falls under the radar, it falls under the radar. In his defense though, he did compliment the battle system. Even though Chef and gang made this game in a comedic fashion, the effort shows (especially in the battle system). I'm pretty surprised why it got as popular as it did. That doesn't mean I'm jealous though, if anything, I'm happy that you guys got a little lime light! That's one up for the little guy in my opinion. But still, seeing a whole bunch of old nerds in the 30's bigging the game up was... Sort of a turn, nm.

To be honest, I've probably played the game for about 30 minutes before I stop playing it. I still think the game was put together well and the soundtrack was the shit from what I heard of it. I'll eventually come back and try it again sometime.

P.S: I have the sudden urge to play KC all of sudden

I just watched the bakley vid on 1up, one of the best reviews of it I've seen so far. I really liked it.

The only way this could get bigger is if GameSpot/IGN/EGM reviewed this game.

Or if it somehow got a commercial on live TV.

or if Charles Barkley comes to these forums and says how much the game owns.

the only thing i didnt like about the 1up review was they said you need to grind

not only do you not need to grind, but unless you kill everything then save and reload you CANT grind.

apart from that it was amazing

KC's selling point was its "classic" style. It could not end well.

It's worth mentioning that the Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden entry in the wikipedia is significantly longer than the entry for Lord Byron's narrative poem Childe Harold's Pilgrimage.

I think you guys win. You've managed to outperform one of the most important pieces of literature of the entire history of the English language.

i actually recorded it into audacity and the only effect is that the pitch is lowered a whole 3 percent. i probably should have practised my BARKLEY IMPRESSION a lot more, more or less i just turned on the mic and did whatever i remember barkley sounded like which was not like barkley at all. it it pretty good though i think because i intentionally said HOOPZ in a really stupid way and i am glad aaron from gamespot caught onto this (and you guys should too because that is the canon way to pronounce hoopz).

Been playing this game for two weeks now. So far, it's really, really good and I love the music. It has this upbeat, fresh tone to it...and for a guy like me that's great.

I think the biggest selling point for me is the dialouge. It's very well point together. It's so refreshing to play a game not totally influenced by anime, without the "cute" dialouge or the really lame attempts at making contrived, "dark" stories. It's original and so surreal, but makes perfect sense, somehow.

About BR...don't know him, but Onyx isn't super popular around these parts either (as far as I know), but as long as SOMEONE'S playing it and enjoying it...that's enough for me. Then again, the DL count is surprisingly really high, especially for a 1st game and one that's been out for 2 years now.

oh wow... 3 percent? that's only half a semi-tone. YOUR MANLINESS IS CONFIRMED.

You should do more voice acting for the next episode.... not the whole game or anything but just a couple more places if it fits in to a cutscene or something. Everyone seems to have loved those.
