Sarhan, I have no idea what's wrong with the friend code issue. I added yours and double-checked (and had my boyfriend confirm it) and it's written properly, so I don't know what's happening with that.

So Halibabica and Sarhan just kicked me around for a bit.

I have so say Halibabica was more embrassing because he literally went through the characters in order and beat me with most of them. I still can't find a good way to counter ZSS.

This is how I fight.  I'm still getting used to the new cast (39 is a lot more than 26), but it's my ultimate goal to be highly capable with every single character.  Someday, I plan on leaving my token on the Random button and just letting the sparks fly with whoever I get stuck with.  Changing characters constantly also keeps me from developing habits fighting with them (or at least I hope it does).

That would be Man-O-War. Good matches with you guys today. They were all pretty damn close, especially that one on Pokemon Stadium 1 with Bowser, Wolf, and Game and Watch. You had me shitting my pants out of fear by the end. Your G&W is pretty beastly.

By the way, did you do anything special to get the whole "awaiting registration" thing fixed up? I'm having the same problem with Raziel.

I do this fairly often as well and my friend just runs up and grabs me. Most people do it because it's the first thing they think of when they see someone running up for an attack. Only way I can stop myself from doing it is if I consciously try to avoid it. Spot-dodging also helps because it provides you with a second option.

Important tournament information:

So is everyone cool with having the tournament next Sunday? It's basically best 2 out of 3, double elimination. You each pick your own stages and item settings. Items are allowed, but not required. This means that you can edit your item preference list any way you want.

Since it'd be tough to set a time when everyone can go online, it'd be best to leave it up to the contestants to contact each other. After the bracket is determined, you have to get in touch with your opponent and set up a time when you'd both be able to play. Please use PMs/AIM/mIRC/MSN/whatever for this to avoid cluttering up the topic (you can, however, post about how the matches went). After someone gets the 2 victories, you PM me with the results. Each round would take one day and you and your opponent have until a few hours before the next round begins to get your matches out of the way. So for example, the first round would be on Sunday the 23rd, and you'd have until...let's say...5 PM (central) on Monday to play and PM the results. At 6 PM on Monday, I'll post the updated brackets and you have anywhere from then until 5 PM on Tuesday to complete the next round.

It sounds horrible for the following reasons:
-No defined item rules, makes each match different from one another rules wise. This is bad. Choose either all items, some items, or no items.
-Should probably set the time to turn in stuff WAY later than 5 PM....most people are just getting out of school, might have after school activities, might have work after school, etc.

Most people who've shown interest in joining the tournament have said they want items on. Unless this is no longer the case, items will stay on. If there are items absolutely everyone wants off, we could so some sort of item ban list, but for now it seems all items will be allowed. Let me know what you guys think.

The thing about the 5 PM deal is that you'd have a day before that to play and PM the results. So you'd have from 6 PM of one day until 5 PM of the next, giving you 23 hours to get it out of the way. If this is still an issue, 9 PM might be better, but all this would really do is change it to 10 PM of one day until 9 PM of the next.
