Anyone who thinks anything is cheap in video games seriously has to reconsider the way they play and stop being fucking children about it.

Been using C-stick since Melee was out. I almost never charge smashes unless I'm using slow characters that really need it (Ike, Dedede, Ganon), otherwise I just c-stick that shit to oblivion. I also use it during air combos a fuckload as it allows me to not have to just tilt the stick and I can react faster that way.

Of course there exists cheap tactics, the matter just is that who you play with. In competitive scene pretty much anything goes, while if you play with your friends to have a blast I doubt that the others enjoy if you use so called cheap tactics for the sole purpose of winning. And I don't think C-stick should be considered a cheap tactic as it's available to everyone and if you play without the C-stick regularly you can smash just as fast as with the C-stick.

Anyway, I've also noticed that a lot of times the C-stick that just doesn't work in SSBB. First I thought my controller was broken, but then my friend noticed it too. And then I read that people are experiencing the same thing here. Must be a glitch in the game or something. It's fucking annoying when you're just about to finish your opponent off with a quick smash, it won't come out even if you tilt the c-stick! Because of this I should probably get more used to doing the smashes the "regular way", even the quick, uncharged ones.

big thanx to dragonslayer for sig!

The c-stick CAN definitely be used as a scrub tactic.

The term "C-Stick Marth" comes to mind.

I love Ganon. I'm okay with him, but I love using him. He's absolute fun.

Say, anyone on, care for a few rounds?

Unless I'm wrong you can only SEND custom stages to friends and what not. I dont think you can play them.

Went to a tournament earlier today.

I lost both of my matches :\  There were some seriously good players there, particularly KOREANDJ who pretty much owned everyone.  I didn't face him, but both of my matches just happened to be against two of the best players there.

It happens once a day automatically when you log onto the WFC.  You get the stage, screenshot, and replay of the day.  They all disappear automatically, too.

You can only send your own stages/pictures/replays to friends, and more specifically Wii friends (you need their Wii code to send stuff).

Am I the only one who thinks this game's music takes itself far too seriously? I honestly miss the old N64 music...

How so?  A lot of the music is from old games, and not even remixed.  I really enjoy hearing the remixed versions of the old tracks, too (especially the classical stuff from Kid Icarus).  I don't get what you mean that it takes itself too seriously.

I guess the main theme is a little too serious for a game like this.  At the end of the Emissary when I saw what all the lyrics meant, it did seem kinda over-dramatic.  But I don't really mind.  What I've heard of the soundtrack's been awesome, and I don't care if the music tries to make the game more serious.
