I just started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the very first one...and I have to say...

Fucking awesome game. I'll be playing all the others and waiting for this eventually. I'm in the middle of the second case right now though, and Miles in an asshole. Haha.

He's not that bad. I'm in the middle of the third case. Even though he's the prosecutor he seems pretty uh... speechless.

Speaking of Oldbag, has anyone been able to keep up with her when she starts speaking really quickly (auto advancing text)?  It's usually nothing more than a rant but they're (mostly) pretty funny.

Not impossible, or that hard really. I guess if you're not expecting it, but after the first one I pretty much figured there'd be many many more and have had no trouble catching a word of it since.

You think Edgeworth is an asshole? Manfred von Karma, dude. Manfred von Karma. That guy gave me nightmares. Scariest damn prosecutor ever.

Also, I found it easy to keep up with Oldbag's speeches. Really, I found it hard to keep up with Moe's weird rants everytime he got whipped by Franzviska.

As I was saying before I got crazed, Moe's rants, in actuality, are the Fresh Prince of Bel-air and A-Team themesongs.

Yeah, some of the rants are extremely fast, but Oldbag's are easy enough to read.  I'm glad she's making a return in Ace Prosecutor.

Well, for one, it's funny. But she and her father have completely different attitudes, she's just bitchy, but Manfred is pure evil.

Franziska was more terrible than her father. How is it that the judge allows her to carry a whip into the court room and even worse: Use it to attack people? That's aggravated ASSAULT and I am pretty certain it's against the law! I don't even think Manfed's taser is that bad.

she's terrible in a courtroom-procedure sense but i hope you are not saying she's a terrible person because there are so many problems with that statement

Man I'm really pumped for this. I remember when I played PW:AA and the first thing I thought about Edgeworth was "oh shit i'm going to die i'm already going against him" and "god damn he is an asshole." Eventually he became one of the most badass characters in existence.

I didn't like JFA very much until the last case, which, in my opinion, is the best case in the whole series. Trials and Tribulations was the most well-crafted, though, and I'm glad that this game won't be set in Apollo Justice's time. I loathed AJ because everyone was generally a weakling and it didn't make sense that Phoenix LOSES HIS BADGE over some stupid shit like USING FORGED EVIDENCE when all the goddamn prosecutors have used forged evidence without so much a penalty in the game. Man AJ was terrible.
