take out the hinges from his bedroom door when he's sleeping or not in the apartment and hide them

Remove the other half of the hinges so the door actually falls off. Blame him and make him pay the $$$ for it.

Yes, that.

Put pennies between the door and the wall. This'll lock him in and prompt him to bust the door down.

kick him in the crotch so hard that he'll have to whisper when he talks.

then remove his head from his body so he stops slamming doors.

Ok I am going to take a different approach to this...

Are you sure he does this intentionally? For some people singing in the shower in the morning is a bad habit. I am the same. I come from a family of early risers so I always used to sing in the shower at like 8AM after everyone else had already left for work and that stuck with me right through Uni and I am still trying to kick the habit now.

Of course if he does it intentionally then thats just cuntish really. :\

Fuck, I hate loud people. Call him out on it, from my experience earplugs don't do SHIT ALL with this stuff. Plus what gives that faggot the right to restrict your sleep? Nothing.

actually if he's an engineering major it's probably related to his personality disorder so confrontation might not be the best.

what would be perfect is one of those dog collars that you use to stop your dog barking, if you set one up to work on decibels it'd be great. then if you were ever feeling sadistic you could just clap your hands at him or something.

What the fuck dude. You know the sensible thing to do is to talk to your housemates about it, and if they agree tell him that if he doesn't shut the fuck up then he's out of the house. Unless he OWNS the house in which case start looking at some property!

Sorry crumply, but this is true! I have yet to meet an engineering major (I have met many since one of my good friends is one and he keeps introducing me to others) who isn't at least a bit (a lot) of a weirdo faggot.

You could seriously just tie him to his bed until your exams were over. As long as you have your flatmates on your side and they're willing to say you didn't do this, you should be fine. By the sounds of it he can't make any more noise than he already is, and since the year is almost over you won't have to suffer from him for long (assuming you are moving after the year).

If he moves around in the nighttime, turn off the fuses that control the lights in his part of the house after a certain point! Then he will have to walk around in the pitch black. In addition to this, sprinkle glass onto the floor outside (or inside) his room! You will also have to steal his shoes and any flashlights he has. However, this is a blameless crime.

Dismantle his bed when he's out, screw different parts of it to different objects around the house, preferably in places that the slamming of a door can unexpectedly snap it...

If he has a television in his room, open up the back and put his blanket in there.

Seduce his girlfriend // Get a girl to seduce him

Piss on his face when he is sleeping, film it and then threaten to youtube it if he doesn't STFU

Seriously, get all your housemates together and threaten to kick him out. You shouldn't have to put up with that shit and I can't believe you would just buy earplugs and ignore it. You shouldn't have to cater to his bullshit.

Do exactly what you should do. Go to him and complain again, and be a bit more forceful about it this time. You're making exams and he should respect this. Does he understand that this is an extremely important time for you?

Do NOT attempt to bully him. This will only make matters worse.

Actually though, I find this stereotype interesting because I find that it's true. One of my friends wants to major in Engineering and he's a pompous asshole. The guy just NEVER SHUTS UP. And he cavorts about with this utterly annoying attitude and does all sorts of weird things. He even has to take frigging TRANQUILIZING DEPRESSANTS in order for him to go to sleep. Him, together with one of Steel's roommates (I think this is in reference to his thread about college majors), this guy, and Kaempfer's experiences, all engineers are looking to be Grade-A Assholes.

I'm pretty glad that I suck too much in Physics to even consider the career.
