I think it looks cool but there are some disappointing things about it.
I don't like the new health bars. The health bars for all monsters should be like the heath bars on the bosses. The bars right above the monsters head are annoying because they pop in and out right above where you are fighting. Also, those mini health bars don't have any room to show monster resistances and other things like that.
This will probably be a toggle imo.
I also don't like the inventory screen, I really hope they bring back the traditional grid based inventory. From what I could tell the inventory panel only held equipment, and items went else where.
That was the character sheet, it works like in WoW basically or whatever. Character sheet with your currently equipped items & stats, and inventory elsewhere.
I really don't care about the skill bar, d2 had a ton of configurable hotkeys so that was never a problem. I do miss the potion bar. I am assuming they replaced it with an auto potion consuming button, that picks the right potion for you. Only concen with that is the other types of potions, like poison and thawing.
Probably from inventory or hotkey.
They also lost a lot of the darkness you get when you play d2, all and all, this game reminds me of a better dungeon siege 2. They have a lot to live up to if they want to create diablo 3. I really can't wait to see the skill tree.
It was just a bright area, D2 had them too.
edit: Oh, I also don't like the lack of loot dropping, it probably has something to do with the new crappy inventory screen.
Loot dropped in that vid, so idk what you're talking about? He didn't hold down the alt key a lot though.
Titan quest was bad because all the enemies were the same, it became incredibly boring and was a chore to beat. Also the skills & skill tree were nothing special.
It also seemed more focused on the single player experience, didn't have much character customization, what skills were there were either completely fucking useless or surprisingly overpowered, none of the character classes really flowed well together, the competitive side of it was virtually non-existent, and all the enemies ever really did was run at you and die. Even the bosses.
