so how about instead of the humourless sarcasm you try and defend your loyalty to chrono trigger huh
Hmm, mkay.
I've already explained that, yeah, it's not smart financially. The point is, does that really matter? No. It's my money, who cares what I do with it?
Hell, if I wanted to buy up every copy of, I dunno, something expensive, like Suikoden II, who cares? So what if that's how I choose to spend my cash? Some collectors have two of many rare games, one to play, and one to keep mint.
I've got CT on SNES. I mean, the save battery is dead, but I have it. And, I've got Final Fantasy Chronicles for PSX, although I'm not fond of it's load times. So yeah, I'm getting the DS port. Not only is it portable, but it also has bonus content? Sign me up.
Yes, I've gotten all the Final Fantasy Advances, and hell, I've bought Zelda: A Link to the Past hmm...three times? Once on SNES, once on the Virtual Console, and once for the GBA. I love the game. Eventually, once the Virtual Console gets ALL the SNES games I want (some of which will probably never happen), I'll sell my SNES and all my games, and just have the VC, but, until then, maybe I want to keep my SNES to bust out some Earthbound, or Mario RPG. And, I'm a sucker for portability, so yeah, if I can play one of my favorite games on the go, I'm definitely going to, because, to be honest, I'm much more inclined to handheld gaming than console gaming anyway.
So, yeah, I'm getting CT for DS. I want the portability and extra content, sue me. What I DON'T understand, is why everyone's panties are up their asses about it. Who cares?
