no! and i actually skimmed through the soundtracks of all the NES megaman games too.

it's really more that the synth instruments that he used in this song and some others are really similar to the way they used instruments in the megaman games. that's the way i hear it anyway. going through all the megaman stuff i heard some stuff that was kinda oddly similar but not enough for me to call it a ripoff or anything.

Yeah I imagine things like Metal Man from MM2 has a similar way it uses synths, even if it really sounds different. He was just WELL AHEAD OF HIS TIME.
