Nah its ok, I know most of ya all's like to use big boxes, mine is set to be just the right size so theres no line cutoff's etc. Anyway, heres what you need:


Ok...I found a original RPG2003.EXE and took the TFORMEVCMD10110 page and overwrote your TFORMEVCMD10110 in the patched version, compiled and saved and reopened RM2k3 and BOOM! Big text box again!

I knew it was in RCData somewhere!

Now to make the variable box wider so I can view (and someday be able to write) long variable names!.....Hmmmm.....

Hey Gutts, I think I need to apply the "PowerMode Patch" to my project for my custom intro to work right. I need the function to execute the "load game" command from a script. Im using the "David OverDrive Patch" and am enjoying it very much.

The PowerMode patch requires you to overwrite the RPG_RT.exe file of your project.....and so does the David Patch that im useing!

Is there any way I can overwrite the my RPG_RT.exe with the PowerMode version and manually apply your changes to the RPG_RT.exe file to keep the David Patch fully functional? Can I use reshack?

How does the David OverDrive RPG_RT.exe effect the Patches compatibility?

Forget PowerMode. Use BetterAEP for your custom intro and then change the picture limit to 120 again using Hyper Patcher 2.

I would like to use Picpointererpatch but it's not compatible with Power mode or David G...

Is there something I can use with Picpointerpatch Cherry that has mouse support?

Using any of PicPointerPatch's features when applied to the Power Patch RPG_RT results in an error:
Fallo al insertar
(D:\ha\02rpg2000\2003\RPG_RT\LGD_Picture.pas, 526 Line)

I haven't been using Power Patch long so I don't know what throws that error. (It's under RM2K3)

Ouch, you have used it on the RPG_RT.EXE? When you installed the Power Patch, YOU RENAMED THE RPG_RT.EXE TO RPG_RT.OEX and placed a new RPG_RT.EXE file there.

Please download Power Patch again and replace the RPG_RT.EXE by the one you just downloaded (because you may have destroyed it now), and then apply the PicPointerPatch on RPG_RT.OEX.

But please MAKE SURE IT'S FROM RM2k3 VERSION v1.08!

Oh, wait, right. I forgot completely about the .oex. Like I said, I don't have the greatest understanding of how the Power Patch works. With the reordering it works perfectly. Thanks a lot; these are two insanely useful patches. (Especially PPP)

Why would you (want to) change .exe to .oex...iv googled and cant come up with what .oex is?

My rpg_rt.exe file needs to load first and then start the original file. So I renamed the original file to .oex (odd executable^^ - no its just ANY name) so nobody would doubleclick on it and this way start the game without starting Power Patch.

Just wondering if there's an easy way to increase the maximum number of cells for any given animation (defaults 25 I think?) Been looking for some values to adjust, haven't found much.  If not, definitely requesting it in the next update.  Thanks!

Anyway, I'm taking this time to post a little update:

A heavily requested feature in rpgmaker has been

1) making the animation window much bigger
2) allowing more cells to be placed then 8 cells

and most importantly, the most desirable feature of rpgmaker:

3) heroes stats can go past 9999 AND you can do up to 99,999 HP damage to enemies with REGULAR ATTACKS! No coding, no eventing, just plain simple DBS.

more specifically:

99,999 HP
9,999 MP
9999 STR
9999 DEF
9999 INT
255 AGL

(Agility cap remains at 255 for both monsters and heroes)


Will this be out any time soon?
