kaworu is 100% right. this shit is taken from comic books and somehow unbelievably DUMBED DOWN basically manchildren books (I've never seen it but panda has brought up the numerous flaws). for fuck's sake both DC and Marvel just had a POWERS LOST arc (in 52, the main three being gone, and obviously the Decimation in Marvel). this really isn't up for debate, he's completely right, comics did everything Heroes has done! if you want to try and argue this go ahead but between kaworu and myself we've got an obscene amount of comics knowledge.

we all know he does this and it's very funny but lets face it its not the best comparison. survivor is at least SUPPOSED to be unscripted (leaks have suggested that almost no reality show is though), while you can criticize him for liking a dumb show, it doesn't invalidate his criticism of a show run in a completely different manner. he's not dissing TOP CHEF or another reality program, what does his love of Survivor prove other than he likes bad reality tv? I like almost any cooking program on TV, even shit like Hell's Kitchen, but it doesn't mean I can't say "jesus prison break sucked last night".

Really? I thought that it was one of the worst episodes ever. Someone explain to me why Sylar killed Elle because the writers certainly didn't.

Before Hiro teleported Sylar and Elle away, that dad guy revealed something about how Elle was part of the plot to make and use Sylar as a weapon or some shit.
 

dom i think you need to raise your standards of what "quality television" is.  heroes was, at its best, a mediocre, predictable comic book in television form (as in yeah definitely a ripoff of your standard/stereotypical comic book plotting/characters/writing).  this is good apparently??  if your idea of excellent tv is basically what all garbage comics that only entertain pre-teens and manchildren end up being, and what people who write actual GOOD COMICS (heroes has never come close to these btw!!!!) aspire to be much more than then idk man GROW UP or something.

but it's not good at all when judged in the context of comics.  it is completely unexceptional, and that was in the first season; a different medium does not make it better if it is the same old shit with no exceptions, only this time on tv instead of in a book!!  2 and especially 3 are downright awful p much 100% of the time and you saying they have great parts makes me think it is funny that you are such a dick while having such terrible, childish taste in entertainment.  do you like true blood too lol.  im what you might call.....a tv connoisseur
