I actually felt dumber watching this movie and was pissed off I spent nearly 3 hours giving this piece of shit my attention. I love far out movies that make you think about shit and try to confuse you a little bit but there wasn't ANYTHING to figure out and it wasn't far out enough either really. Just mixed up so you couldn't possibly know what the fuck was going on or was supposed to be going on at all.

I was hoping it would be enjoyable too, can anyone give me some lynch film reqs that aren't anal mindfuck? Anal mindfuck just hurts alot and leaves you anti-climactic, sore, and pissed off afterwords.

What I'm trying to say is I'm sore and I want vaginal mindfuck instead...

speaking of david lynch i just saw mulholland dr last night and really enjoyed it although it freaked me the fuck out. i was kind of my first david lynch experience so i don't really know if it was supposed to be creepy as hell or what but i swear that guy could make a sheet of paper the most terrifying thing on earth

his paintings are all kind of terrible!

edit: according to what I've heard. I really think complaining about Lynch is a stupid thing to do in general because seriously name one other director that actually gets even slight mainstream attention doing shit that he's doing. I know that's usually a terrible argument but when there's really just ONE PERSON and so many people have cribbed from him (if you've ever seen a movie even inspired by Tarantino for example) it's really like dang dude who cares if he stretches it thin.

I have never been a big fan of David Lynch, mostly because my first Lynch experience was Dune...

Saturday I saw The Happening.
I avoided this movie because I spoiled it for myself when it was in theatres but wow! I thought the idea was dumb but this movie was horrid!
The acting was maybe the worst in a blockbuster like that I've ever seen. There is a scene where this old lady says to Mark Wahlberg, "You're going to kill me in my sleep aren't you?!" and he's just like "Whaat? Nooooo..." and it was so hilarious I rewound and watched a few times more. Ugh it was such a bad movie. And lions grab a guy's hands and pull his arms off lol.

I saw Up! tonight though, and it was by far the best disney movie I've seen in a few years. I didn't see Cars or any of that shit since Toy Story 2 maybe, and I really liked this movie! Some of the characters were kind of irritating, mainly the dog, but I think the target audience is pretty young, despite some heavy adult themes. The old man's and he's left with this dream they had of going to south america which is why he decides to fly his house around.
The movie is set on a timer though, which is the balloons filled with helium slowly losing air, which is pretty great. And also there is a fight between two old men which is really entertaining as a whole.
Pretty much this is a must see if you are at all a fan of family movies or disney.

Ok, I finally got to see the Spiderman 3 movie that everyone said was bad, and contrary to my beliefs this movie was even worser than the 2nd movie, which made a little sad. I hope they don't make spiderman 4 at all.

Today I saw Fistful of Dynamite/Duck, You Sucker. I think I've seen all Leone westerns now, and this is the only one that I didn't really like that much. It's a bit too long, and the slow-motion flashback scenes are completely pointless. Morricone's score also feels really out of place sometimes. But hey, there's lots of explosions and shit. It's watchable, but still pretty disappointing compared to Leone's other movies.

The last movie I watched was Up, and I enjoyed it immensely.  I haven't seen a movie that both made me incredibly sad and laugh out loud in a long time.  I was pretty choked up at the start (especially since I went with my wife, who is 5 months pregnant with our first child).

I loved Dug the dog - he had some of the best lines.

It's the 10th (?) Pixar 3D animated movie about an old man who journeys to South America in his flying house suspended by hundreds of helium balloons.  Adventure ensues.
