Is that the one with Queen Latifah?

EDIT:
Ah, the one with De Niro.

And somehow my imdb'ing led me to reading Don Bluth's bio and now I want to watch The Secret of NIMH.  I think I have it on beta...

watched Taxi last night.  took me a long time to really get into the movie as it does have a sort of rather slow pace to it, but the ending and build-up to it was just epic, especially starting at the part where Fallon's character was introduced.

DeNiro's got nothing on Latifah's charm

but seriously bro, don't try and equate Taxi and Taxi Driver into the same film, especially with one being some bullshit remake of a french movie and the other being a practically unanimously hailed movie classic.

best film confusion ever was when my dad was getting a rental DVD off lovefilm (they post them to you) and we told him to get "the dark knight with heath ledger in it" and he went and got a knight's tale delivered. Sure it has heath ledger and "knight" in the title..... dad fail...

I guess I should explain that I was being facetious in my first post.

this is the greatest story ever. you should seriously think about getting it published or adapting it to film

Postal, and... wow.  That child massacre scene was pretty fucking hilarious.

I also found it funny that I recognized much of the cast, but couldn't remember where the hell I'd seen them.  Namely:  "Postal Guy", the corner store clerk, the GluttCo manager, the midget (Mini-Me?), and Uncle Dave's assistant guy.
keep posting...

I just got done watching the pbs jonestown documentary and I remember meeting a lady merchant mariner that was from guyana africa or the area where the encampment was set and she told me about it when I was in school training.

Seriously though, those people are a bunch of fucking idiots. And why do the hell do dumb people keep falling for psychos that use socialism as a baited guise to basically destroy them. I get that they were pretty heavily deprived of sleep and maybe even kind of brainwashed but you've got to be a complete fool in the first place to sit there and watch that fucked up shit going on and still go with it.

I also don't get why the survivors didn't bother running in there after most the guards killed themselves to pull that bitch fucker out by his goddamn hair so he can face a trial and rot in jail like the piece of shit deserved.

Bunch of dumb mothers too feeding poison to their babies. God I hate fucking people so much.

The Hangover...

... is actually pretty good. Given, the story is bollocks, but I went to laugh and the whole movie is, more-or-less, hilarious. I kinda like the fact the movie pushes stupid boundaries for no reason; seeing someone make a baby mimic jacking itself off it hilarious yet very, very disturbing.

Oh, and Mike Tyson.

Sunshine Cleaning - from the guys who brought us Little Ms Sunshine.. I thought it was a fun watch, it had some interesting moments and although not as good as Little Ms Sunshine I would still recommend it.

you've said it yourself. People are idiots. It's the only indisputable truth we have.

That said...

Last movies I watched were Monsters VS Aliens, Coraline, Get Smart, the Happening and The Uninvited.

Monsters VS Aliens was hilarious. I think this is my favorite dreamworks movie ever.
Coraline was... Interesting. It starts off with a slow pace, but halfway through, the movie gets better.
I'm a sucker for stop motion films, so I didn't mind so much. Other people might/will, however.

Get Smart... God, I hate that guy. My girlfriend made me watch this film. It then turned out she hated it
too, so we turned it off. I really fucking hate that guy.

The happening was interesting. The scenes were pretty damn funny, and even though
the movie was mostly environmentalist propaganda, i enjoyed it. Mark Wahlberg should stop looking like
Matt Damon though.

The Uninvited... It's a real damn shame i saw the entire plot twist coming from 10 minutes into the film.
Emily Browning is damn cute though, so I didn't mind very much. She looks lovely when she's

I actually found this movie really good, it reminded me of an asian movie called A Tale of Two Sisters only I actually understood what was going on in Uninvited.

was a tale of two sisters really that hard to understand once you saw the end?

I just revisited Pitch Black recently and I just saw Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen, which wasn't THAT bad.
