what the fuck velfarre since when is bill and ted a thing. seriously why didn't you just say CHEECH AND CHONG or some other shit also? what a weird thing to get huffy about.

you didn't know...the plot of an old ass movie...no one talks about... @_@

also yeah slumdog millionaire is kind of dumb imho. I saw it again yesterday since my mom wanted to. it's not a bad movie its just...not very good. I'm kind of tired of works functioning as little foreign pastiches too, I've been reading a lot of books like that lately and it's an annoying trend.

but i figured if you knew the title you knew the plot too
I don't know how big Bill and Ted is in the states, but It's not entirely impossible if it didn't somehow slip into Sweden as a big-thing as well (for example, Wayne's World is pretty known here). It didn't though :P

oh... india is now the center of business? and they have the same gameshows as us... wow... and that american lady, she was kind of like his benefactor, wasn't she? that's kind of like a metaphor for like... the u.s. watching india's back. yeah. and it won five billion oscars? hm. hm. india has a very rich culture, we should go there on vacation soon

the weirdest moments in the movie were the end where she's like "i thought we would only be together in death...." and when the brother says "god is great". it is entirely heavy-handed.

Die Hard 3 - I only worked out this was made which is pretty bad considering ive seen 1, 2 and 4.0 a hundred times. I somehow decided 4.0 was the third, think I had a brain fart. Anyways it was great seeing the old John McClane back in action before he turned into a super hero in 4.0 shooting helicopters with cars. It had some great moments in it and he worked well alongside Samuel L.Jackson although alot of what happened was too convenient e.g. him shooting out of the drain pipe just as Samuel L.Jackson was driving past.

The one-liner of Salim yea was pretty, the term? animeish..

Anyway, watched more movies after that..

The Curious case of BEnjamin Button - the idea might have been unique but well it still didn't feel or seem to leave me an impression,. very much boring and long.

Ong Bak 2 - obviously rushed at the ending

Ghost Town - seems nice

Eagle Eye - it's really good I think

i don't even know what this is sorry

but sorry!  it seemed like if you ever heard of it, the plot sort of came with it, i didn't think BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE was something that you heard in passing, it seemed like something that if your country didn't have it, then you came across it online somewhere in which case you probably also found out more about it, i'm not assuming that everyone in the world has bill and ted i just thought it was weird that you would ever JUST hear the title to the point where you looked into it, i was wrong fuck me

edit: man i reread my posts just to be sure but i can't see how you thought they were huffy at all  :welp:

Maybe it's just because I wikipedia almost anything I come across that I don't know about...I guess I'm a weirdo :(

But if I heard a title like that I'd probably want to know what it was about (and then be promptly disappointed)

well by this token i thought everyone who knew bill and ted also knew keanu reeves had a terrible band called dogstar.

so wikipedia that.

speaking of terminator though i watched that again and i'm going to express the unpopular opinion that it's better than t2 just because that "can machine...love..." stuff was pretty dumb and it's neat how this movie has such an unresolved ending. humanity still fucked, all that happened is history is still on course. t3 took this to the logical point, but t2 was all about how the future wasn't set. what a strange series of movies.

i don't remember them well but terminator 2 was a lot less disturbing and seemed to really obviously take in criticism. in the first movie he kills a bunch of cops and in the second they go out of their way to say "nope, one cop got his leg broke but he's sweet." there's also a lot more humor iirc.

i just saw Doubt which was pretty cheesy. there's a bunch of really groan worthy stuff and that's the only stand out thing imo, bad jokes.

the prestige was alright. two unlikable characters playing tricks on each other. WORK IS YOUR LIFE.

and i saw network which was pretty fantastic even though it's a bit old. the dialogue was really quite magnificent. the MESSAGE has been done before but this is old and it seems right on the cusp of the change so maybe it wasn't cliche.
