I too watched Clash of the Titans earlier today, and I have to say, in nearly all ways (spare the Na'vi), it was better than Avatar.

I agree with this man. Who needs drugs when there are movies such as this one that gives you up to 20 times the high of any substance!

i blew off going to this movie Irreversible tonight at our cult theatre. supposedly there's a 9 minute rape scene and a constant buzzing throughout the movie that's said to make some viewers vomit.

i don't feel like reading reviews or shit has anyone seen/heard of this

well i had assumed it was some art film trip just because of the theatre and the short description  on their site. i really don't care what it's about really i'm wondering if it's enjoyable or redeemable at any level to someone who's not into "films" as climbtree says

btw date night is better than the trailers make it out to be.

tina fey makes a joke about farting in a shoe box that i still don't understand but I think it's her new brand of humor where she justs says weird things and people think it's funny

I watched 2012. It was pretty much independence day. It was something to do I guess....

2012 was decent yeah. I fully expected it to be rubbish at least when I watched it and it wasn't so that's a plus.

Ugh, 2012 was pretty awful.  Like, it is clearly not the worst film that was ever made, but it was pretty much the same level as terrible as most people expected it to be, and it quite adequately lived up to those expectations.

I haven't watched anything since I watched Punch Drunk Love the other week, so it is not like I have anything in particular to report. I'm hopefully going to go and see Kick-Ass sometime over the next week or so after finals are done with.   After that, I haven't the slightest idea what I'm going to watch, but there are some old movies that I have on my computer that I might pop in until my May Term classes kick in.

I really liked 2012.  Not as much as I like Independence Day, but I thought it was entertaining.

^Same here. It was a good time-waster. I pretty much knew what to expect, but even so there weren't any cringe-worthy moments for me. I certainly wasn't bored watching it.

I last saw 'Identity'. I've been reading the script for ages and decided to watch the movie and see how they compare. From what I've noticed, very few changes were made and I think I enjoyed the movie more than I did the first time I saw it (back in high school). Perhaps actually paying attention this time and thus understanding the ending may have had something to do with it.

Holy crap just got back from Kick Ass, one of the the best movies I've seen.

Like, good enough that I can't watch anything right now with out thinking how it doesn't live up to Kick Ass. Just holy shit.

Also introduced me to the song "Omen" by The Prodigy.

been listening to it over and over for a while.
