What i'd like to know is why the Palestinians are still refugees for almost 3 generations now.  It seems to me like the arab countries are just keeping them there so they actually cause problems and so they can look miserable and oppressed. Do you not realize that the area is SURRROUNDED by arab countries with money and that they could easily accommodate all the palestinian refugees? If this happened, probably 95% of the problems would be solved, with 5% palestinians who actually wanted their land back.

You guys keep yelling OPRESSION and ITS THEIR LAND but hey, wasn't the arab nations' original intent back in '67 to KILL ALL JEWS DESTROY ISRAEL?? Guess what, Israel won the war and got land! Why should they give it back? That's what I don't understand. When something like this happens to european nations, everyone seems to shrug and not care. Let's bring up an example here...when nazi germany was defeated in wwii, eastern Prussia was divided among the soviet union and Poland.  Do you know what happened to the original german populace? They were almost all evacuated back to germany. That was around 2 million people.  That native german population has lived there for HUNDREDS of years, but no one seems to be screaming about ATROCITIES or how the poor people are getting kicked out of their country. There are honestly far more examples exactly like this and I really don’t see why the arab countries can’t accommodate the Palestinians, who would not only get a higher standard of living but also end almost all of the violence around the area. Having refugees for so many generations is fucking ridiculous, and it seems pretty clear to me they’re doing it on purpose. 

Also, when the georgian conflict happened, russia not only invaded georgia, but they completely destroyed all of their infrastructure and fleet,  and there weren’t nearly as many people who cared. China? Nope, not my problem.  How come there are so many protests when Israel does something 'wrong' but when far larger humanitarian crises such as darfur happen, not many people seem to care?? I’m not saying that people SHOULDN’T PROTEST when something like this happens, but it seems that Israel gets FAR MORE ATTENTION over other countries.

I want to also say that the neighbouring Arab countries are really stupid as well by not letting the innocent Palestinians seek refuge into their country, as the arab governments are only looking towards their own self interests and their relations with the western nations (U.S. and Israel), because they're ruled by greedy, money hungry dictators.

Read his post so this whole bullshit and state terrorism is solely Israel's fault and I'm not going to say that Hamas are the 'good guys' either because they at least try to do some nasty things but you have to recognize that the Israeli government is in the midst of committing a genocide. They have already (as well as numerous times in the past) violated the UN charter and have committed war crimes against humanity. What they are doing and HAVE already done is completely and utterly criminal and they should be condemned for it. At least 40% of the civilians killed were women and children and overall almost 2/3 if not more than this, were innocent civilians.

The whole world is starting to see the truth of this massacre now. Ever since they blew up that UN school filled with children, I think now the rest of the world is starting to see this WIP genocide and state terrorism perpetuated by this zionist government.

I just remembered I watched this really good documentary which accurately portrayed both an Arab family and an Israeli family and their feelings toward Israel, it was really interesting but I can't remember the name dammit. It followed this Arab family around who were allowed through the border for the documentary or something and they went to their original family property, the great grandmother started crying it was intense.

Also to reply to ryan's earlier post Qassam rockets are basically the palestineans only way of doing any damage to israeli infrastructure, what would you prefer they do? Attack tanks (supplied to israel from america) and helicopters? They are stuck in ghettoes in a tiny city and can basically do nothing but this. Israel attacked the palestinian civilians and broke the cease fire first, what do you expect?

While I don't agree with the bombing of the UN/school or whatever, 25% of those killed are civilians, and, while still awful, it's obviously inevitable, especially when the militants like to hide out amongst civilians. (Although I don't have any figures on the wounded..unless you were including that in your 2/3 estimate??)
