@SDHawk. I like most of that chip, only the ground tiles are really bright. You might want to darken it a little, but that's just me.

Jabas, I love that screen! The blood is nicely detailed.

And cool style, SD. I see that the Earthbound-ish style is becoming somewhat popular.

Umm... As far as I know, socialists generally don't use swastikas.
wtg. the red backdrop represents socialism and the white circle nationalism. national socialism > nationalsozialismus > nazi

Hmmm. Ive only been here for around 2 years, but I don't recall to remember you. And your CMS looks ok, but the background really doesnt go.

ReiZer0: Looking pretty professional, but I have to agree with Elkalo; ditch the background.  In my opinion, replacing it with a darker complementary color to your already-established grays should do the trick.

MrWeirdGuy: For some reason, I get this vibe of the Green Devil from Megaman 8/Megaman & Bass when I look at your boss's sprite.  xD  I'm also digging your GUI.  Looking good, looking good.

Well I made a new look for the menu & message box, and I’m going to redo a lot of the menu (there’s ALOT of empty space so I’m going to shrink it to make it look cleaner)

Gongo, that looks p. great and refreshing. not sure about the number of digits for what I assume is the currency (metto?), maybe you shouldn't space them out so much. having them a reasonable distance apart would make room for more digits.

edit: also do it with the time too. nice work my tunnel vision

Somehow that reminds me of a mix between Shut Up And Jam and Escape From NY.

ESCAPE FROM NEO NEW YORK come one man put 2 + 2 together

imagine this but full-screen + in motion. currently he just rides down a never-ending road for what I have calculated to be just over a week (thank you virtual frame widths), because I haven't added the cool tunnel or anything yet. all parallex backdrops of course. when it is finished I will post a vid.

edit: welp it doesn't have the menu / cars in the opposite lane yet either. wtg me

He does. He posted some of it few pages back (main char and some)

@Rockman
Well, I dunno. All I can see is Sigma riding on stage 1 of megaman X (the latter because the screen reminds me mostly of that stage).

Personally I think the edit doesn't work (face just reminds me of (that cockroach Sigma too much), but if you want it to be a simple game, it still works fine.

isn't this a wonderful van truck what the heck is it called Vehicle?

Damnit how did I miss that one?
Though I have to agree with SW on the highway screen.

@SW: As always, looking very good!

@Killer Wolf: Is that a new game with those style of characters you were telling me about? They look very good!

Well, after finishing working on the Swamp of the Lost dungeon, quest log for a couple of quests, Ice Forest, and a few gaming bugs/edits, I've started working on Ternotris. Ternotris is a village in the sky, built on floating segments of land. Though this is still in the WIP stages, I hope to finish this place and the quest that goes with it, and re-release a demo to include the few optional quests and areas that are completed.

Just so that everyone knows, the roof tiles used in town will show up above all other tiles, so where the land cuts off above the Potion shop, and where the trees seem to appear out of the top of the Weapon shop will be hiding behind the roofs.

And the ship that can be used to travel between the districts at a round-trip ticket price of 1000 GP. Using switches and the sort, I'll have two ships for all transports between the Residential, Market, and Ternotris Castle areas, one to show the trip -to- your destination, and another to show your trip -from- said destination. Each trip will take 15 seconds to reach its destination (while outside the ship). Though if you choose to stand inside of the ship, it will halt the timer and pick up from where it left off when you leave the inside unless there is only 2 seconds remaining, in which the teleport/captain events will be blocked to avoid possible bug issues.

... In comparison to its debut in 2007.

When this "new demo" is released, I expect it to easily double the playtime of the currently available [April ][/April] version.

Ralph – The overall setting for the game is a combination cyber/bio-punk near future. It begins with the main character being released from a private detention facility, whereupon he quickly manages to run afoul of warring street gangs, one of which is headed by an ex-lover; Russian hard-tech dealers; and the Yakuza.

Yeaster – Thanks, and yes the charsets are originals. The overall style gets revised for each project I attempt. I’ve gotten to a place where I’m basically happy with how they look. I’m still weak on hairstyles though.

SW – The screen looks really good. I’m kind of jealous about how nice that computer kiosk looks. The crates/containers behind the guy with the crossed arms look a little weird though. It looks like they are staggered rather than stacked on one another. It just sort of throws the perspective off a little in that one area to me.

Supreme Warrior – The character art is new, but the idea for the game, not so much. I’ve tried to come up with a good near future setting for a while. A lot of the backstory and terms in the game are from a project I was working on a long time ago called Cyber-Noir. (I’ll probably take that name too.)

Corfaisus – The mapping in those screens looks really good, but some of the knife edge 90 degree protrusions look out of place. Maybe you could rig up some tiles that round them out a little bit. Also, it could just be how nice the towns look, but the ship seems a little lackluster in comparison.
Vagrancy - Be careful who you wake up in a twenty four hour parking lot.
