ps: you've consistently said this is an issue of black and white and good and evil. it is not. Israel is in the wrong here blatantly. that much is clear and obvious to anyone who is not FlowerPower. what's astonishing is you don't realize in order for something to be black and white they must be at the least moral opposites. Hamas is not GOOD PEOPLE. they are still VERY BAD. you can understand them but they are still kind of dicks.
what is condemnable is Israel's actions. this does not mean you have to support Hamas. this is a two sided issue but the two sides are "you agree with Israel's actions" and "you don't agree", not HAMAS OR IDF.
yeah this pretty much exactly!! jesus it is amazing how many people on gw (who i think are probably generally MORE INFORMED [disregarding ][/disregarding] than the usual public) do not seem to GET THIS, but hey whatever. it makes me realize how many average people just DON'T GET what is happening over there (all republicans most democrats) and why it is so horrible.
i don't think you can actually be a politician in this country of any kind and not have to publicly support israel a lot. like the state senate just passed a bill here in florida called 'solidarity with israel' condemning hamas and pretty much saying they have the right to do whatever they want to get the job done. unanimous vote. i bet if someone had voted against it, they would have been subject to attacks in the next state elections about how they didn't support israel regardless of the fact that it has nothing at all to do whatsoever with state politics.
i seriously do believe it's because most people subconsciously think 'well its our white people vs their radical brown people so it's okay', and then the media doesn't report widespread-report stuff like those photos that really show how incredibly awful the current state of affairs is i think.

also maaajor lol@truth, middle class white american in college, expressing revolutionary solidarity with FARC, hamas, and ira, groups with no major ideological connection whose only real connection is that they are terrorist groups who sometimes collaborate to supply each other with arms which they can use to launch attacks with. you do realize you can be anti-oppression without expressing brotherhood with the terrorists, right? but no, you don't, you said it was counterrevolutionary and harmful to the development of an equalized world. you are a real joke buddy.
