what would even give you the idea that firefly is "apparently absolute garbage"?  i dont even like it but its like UNIVERSALLY LOVED idk how you could come to this conclusion outside of watching it yourself.  its not terrible but im sick of whedon's aesthetic.  you're overrating how bad they are tho because despite the b movie settings the writing/interaction is significantly better than 90% of all other television.  it is too predictable/samey for me but youre completely wrong if you think his shows are in the same league as HERCULES and shit

but yeah this show is dumb.  idk why this topic is still active.  it's the most insultingly superficial one yet

who's everyone man.  firefly is ridiculously popular.  when was the last time a canceled show had a fanbase rabid enough to get an entire movie sequel just by RAVING ABOUT THE SHOW?  its like an immense cult hit.  i think people think it's whedon's magnum opus or some shit

How many episodes for season 2 have Fox ordered? Does anyone know?


Anyway, I really hope they change the time slot. I have no idea what possessed Fox to put this on a Friday night, but if it's switched to Mon-Thurs, I'll probably catch this.

Epitaph One is now available for download on torrent sites (the unaired 13th episode). I watched and it was sweet!! One of the best episodes of the season, if not THE best.

i watched it a few days ago it was pretty good for the purposes of Felicia Day being in it, but it terms of an actual episode it was entertaining but like the question I have is why?  Like they aren't going to continue the series from this plot point and a post-apocolyptic dollhouse setting actually seems more interesting than the original setting, so not continuning from this point is kind of a bummer to me

Yeah I prefered the setting we see in this new released episode, it was great and I would have loved for the show to have gone in this direction. I could just imagine all the great things they could have done with it... Dollhouse meets Fallout 3, just awesome.

Ok well Dollhouse is now back in swing for its second season and we had the premiere last week. The episode wasn't too amazing, but Dr. Saunders/Whiskey stole the show for me in her scenes. I hope she's not gone for good. It seems to me that the overall plotline will be that politician dude exposing the Dollhouse.. hopefully things will take a more twisty route than when Paul Ballard tried to do this. I want more media exposure and for things to happen quickly. I think Joss knows that he's skating on thin ice here so he'll try to keep things going fast. (No more monster of the week episodes please!)

Honestly, after watching that 13th episode from last season this new season just doesnt interest me all that much but the first season did start of slow so we might just have to wait a few episodes before this one picks up.

Fuck this show. This show is the one and only reason why Joss Wedden has not made Dr.Horrible 2.
He was quoted himself saying he'd rather put most his time into this show then to re-write his draft ideas for Dr.Horrible 2.

Yeah, that would be awesome. He doesn't even need to scrap it. Really, all he has to do is advance the plot quickly and then jump ahead a few years and explore that scenario while slowly uncovering the past that brought the apocalypse about.
