Some episodes are put together more competently than others but we are talking within the range of 'wow that was an awful indie montage' to 'why did they ruin a decent scene with an indie rock montage?'. the only thing this show ever has going for it occasionally is a bit of momentum but honestly that was a terrible story because being feminist and maintaining this show's exploitative attitude to it's premise is impossible plus YOU RAPING MAN....this man done a rape - heh how does it feel to be out of control Mr. Rape? in every other episode so far we have been complicit in the exploitation of women but in this one we're it's GIRL POWER guys we're gonna cut a caricature's balls off. edgy...is it right to chop up a man who's only personality trait is serial rape? 'Grey area, much?' - Joss Whedon

that isn't mentioning all the day to day stupidity of this show. the constant contradictory cut aways (which were in this episode, too) - you know 'i will never love you!!!!' *2 years later* 'whoops im head over heels!'. also the show loves to spend about 50% of episode spelling everything out for you or reminding you of events in previous episodes in a very television stilted way. and remember that classic racism is over barack obama social commentary last season? what a zinger. the acting is also terrible and this whole show was concieved as an eliza dushku showcase upwards so it will always be about dressing her up.

Well, Fox has announced that they've cancelled Dollhouse for good. The good news is that they'll still let the rest of this season play out till the end, which gives Joss an opportunity to change the final 2 episodes which haven't been filmed yet to give a proper conclusion. I'm going to miss this show.

Anyone else still watching this? The show has gotten super amazing - the plot is flying at breakneck speed to get everything wrapped up, which is so refreshing compared to so many series that take things so slowly. In fact, I'd say that season 2 is quickly becoming one of the best seasons of any show ever. These last 2 episodes were truly stunning. Only 3 more to go though...

I'm sure the end will be satisfying.

I'll echo (lolz) that the latest episodes were super awesome and should have been like that since the beginning. It's amazing they did the same thing with season 1, somehow managed to get green light for season 2 and did the same mistake again.
