I'm with you Steel.  I'd love to get a Southeast GW meet goin' over the summer simply because you can't hardly drive anywhere in Tennessee without running into a random expanse of forest.  Also downtown Nashville is a really ghetto place and there are probably lots of hairy adventures waiting for a random group of curious nerds from around the country/world.

I also have a weird hookup so I could probably get one of these for each person who comes to the potential meet that I haven't even planned yet.  Call me an idealist, but I think there would be nothing better than a bunch of GWers floating down the Cumberland river on pontoon bicycles with fishing poles, tents, spatulas, and the traditional flask of Jack!

yeah, i think the issue is that there is such a mix of people that we can't just LET THE FUN FORM ITSELF... like something i would do on a whim might be totally boring or ridiculous to someone else and vice versa. i think we kind of tried to do this last time we met up in toronto. it was like... let's uuuh... eat some bugs... not leeeet'ssss eat some nachoes... now let's.... find a karaoke bar... etc.

i gotta bunch of stuff to do tomorrow in the evening and the afternoon, i will probably be able to join in for at least a bit somewhere in between or if you guys are out super late. someone pm your cell and i'll give you a call to find out where you are!

The bugs were alright.

Alright I finally found the check-in time for the hotel (expedia's site isn't very navigation friendly) and it's 3pm so let's bump the time to meet at the hotel up to 3:30pm.

We aren't sure where we'll be heading first, we'll be figuring that out at the hotel.  We can wait until 4pm if that'd give you enough time.  It might give us more time too if we get stuck in traffic or something.

Mamamack, dx, and Mellowchild will be at my place around 4pm tomorrow.  We'll be hanging out for the rest of the day and then heading out for Toronto on Tuesday in the late morning or so.

Cam and I are coming seperately. Got to meet with the lady friend downtown around 1:30, so I'll be playing it by ear. My cellphone will be on, you and mack got the number. Last resort I'll get lost trying to find the dumpling place on my own. (unlikely, since I'll be near the hotel anyway)

Anyway, everyone else is asleep so I've just come from breakfast. I am not nearly as hung over as I thought I was going to be, which is a bonus. We had fun, watching hockey, talking about hockey, making fun of each other; you know, the usual things. Once I get showered I'm taking a walk to clear my head and possibly spend money. It should be epic.
