I don't really know about Oblivion. It seems like the kind of game you'd have to spend a lot of time on, though I heard Fallout 3 is similar. I've more experience playing jrpgs rather than western ones, though I don't really care about where the game comes from as long as it's got both a pretty good/fun battle system and story.
Yeah Oblivion you clock a lot of time simply exploring dungeons, doing side quests (there's a SHITLOAD), and so on. Fallout 3 is a good game, but its less playtime. Not as many quests to complete. If you look at the achievements for the game, there's all these achievements for completing quests...and that's it. Those achievements count up all the quests (except for maybe 1 or 2 very tiny things) and even though quests aren't long sometimes.

If you would get Oblivion or Fallout 3, I'd suggest Oblivion. Or go back and pick up the GOTY edition of Morrowind for original Xbox (it still plays on 360 I believe). Or you could get both, whatever!

As far as jRPG then go with like Mass Effect I guess? It's a pretty good game and I've played it quite a few times over! It depends on what kind of person you are, if you'll get bored with it or not. But Mass Effect is the only "jRPG" I have, aside from Lost Odyssey which you have.

Actually I thought this was a joke post at first based on the first image but I guess not.

Also this movie sounds pretty bad for the exact reason that jamicus mentioned.  MAYBE I'M WRONG but it sounds like a really gimmicky and ridiculous way of explaining why this dude can answer every single question.  Every question relates to a past experience this guy has had?  Bullshit.  This sounds dumb.

edit: just watched the trailer and it only looked worse EVERY ANSWER... BRINGS HIM TO HIS ONE TRUE LOVE or whatever the fuck.  Sounds like another fake romance movie so I don't give a shit.
i haven't read most of the posts but yeah this is the exact idea came to my mind when i read the summary.

like deus ex machina every two minutes...

no he's not! Jimmy is a reporter at the Daily Planet. it even says SUPERMAN'S PAL dude.

in the non-canonical stuff from way back there was some dumb SUPERMAN FAMILY shit with Supermaid etc and in a recent arc called the Third Kryptonian he and Lois sort of adopted a kid named Chris but he's gone now and was "a cousin from out of state".

also that maggie ep is in sixth season. after he finds out marge is pregnant again homer has to beg for his old job back, and burns puts up a sign: Don't Forget, You're Here Forever. and at the end Bart is like "yeah but where are Maggie's pictures?" and homer says "they're where I need them most"
man now i want to see these episodes. i never really ever got into the simpsons...it was always a sort of "if i flick to the channel" thing although i know mostly everyone from the simpsons. but now i'm sad because these sound like decent episodes...

Of course there's more than 120, but everytime a game comes up and they tell "HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF POSSIBILITIES" it ends up being astronomically smaller than that because, well, idk, they suck or something. People in general.
Fable.

this looks like a cool game. the idea of having many interactive objects and combinations is interesting but games are not MAGIC and there is clearly a predefined set of items (you would imagine at least 50 based on the screen in the trailer). choosing the items by writing their name is also an interesting idea versus CLICK ITEM FROM MENU. it certainly has unique gameplay mechanics but doubting this is possible or something to this effect makes very little sense.
yeah that's the thing. it's virtually not up to your imagination but up to how many they put in.

but if they're that creative and are able to put in hundreds of things that'd be awesome!

Like that was my favorite part of the game right there.

So has anyone found all of the Behemoths without using the guide?  I've only found one other than the brute that you get to fight once you find Galaxy News Radio.

If you go due north of Tenpenny Tower and keep looking to your left before you get to the river you'll see a big pit of white rocks with a railroad track running through it.  If you head into the ravine you'll eventually start seeing traincars with landmines on either side of them.  Turns out to be a pretty big raider camp complete with a few slaves to free (if you're into that sort of thing).

The real surprise is that there's a fucking behemoth that they've CAPTURED and it's being held in a big pen with an electrified door.  If you shoot the generator right beside the door then it'll escape and you can readily expend all of your ammunition trying to kill it.
I found 2 without using the guide, the one trapped in the giant cage and the one in that building in the capital area fighting those soldiers (i forget??)

If anyone finds the teddy bear one without a guide that's crazy hahaha.

i remember pv=nrt, the gas constant is 0.831 (i believe), avogadro's is 6.022 x 10^23....

and idk some other shit but i just suck when taking tests on it. i'll see how it goes!

So Boyle's law of partial gases or whatever, and the PV=nRT thing. God. Chemistry was so long ago. Good luck with that -- yeesh. You sure you can't take physics?
I'm in a college-level class of physics right now...but this is my first time ever seeing physics. Also it's a little too late for that!

Oh, no one guessed mine. It was D/Generation. And awesome top-down DOS puzzle game that came on the Challenge Pack II.

I basically grew up on D/Gen, Contraption Zack, Ringworld, and Commander Keen.
they were definitely wanting to know what the one with "the king" is.

Yes, there is a way to do it without getting bad karma. You need to talk to everyone and make them give you the key without killing them. Also I would just kill tenpenny as you get GOOD karma from killing him. Then just go get the armor and never talk the ghoul again.
As far as I know you HAVE to kill Tenpenny.

yeah it's an SAT subject test. SAT II.

does the collegeboard website have any practice tests you can take? try to find some of those
On the "Chemistry Subject Test Hub" or whatever they called it, there had 26 practice questions in the format of the test.

I got 8 out of 26 right, which is why I realized I really need to refresh. Furthermore, it makes me feel bad cause I should have signed for this back when I had the class, but the two schools that need them were not really in my list of schools back then.

This is somewhat straightforward. I've taken Chemistry in 9th grade, then I took a Dual Enrollment/college level course of it last year in 11th grade. Now, I'm set up to take the Chemistry subject test in 2 weeks from tomorrow.

It was sort of all of the sudden because I didn't see that two of the colleges I want to apply to require a science subject test of either physics or chemistry (I'm currently in dual enrollment physics so I'm stuck doing chem!).

So basically, does anyone have anything I should go look at to review for this subject test. I'm rather bad with chemistry, but it's my only option in this case, so I'm trying to find things to help me out, review, etc. I borrowed out an advanced chemistry book from my teacher from last year, and I've read/taken notes on the first two chapters, but that's just general ideas/concepts I needed to refresh...

But is there anything out there really worth looking into to refresh/learn?

Not, it's just fucking bad, full stop.
And just out of interest, what armour is everyone using here?
I'm preserving all my brotherhood of steel armour in some lockers and I'm currently using the enclave shock armour (or whatever it's called) and the regulator duster and oasis hood if I need to be more agile.
go do the quest "you gotta shoot 'em in the head" then get the T-51b power armor (by going to the fort place instead of giving the keys back to the ghoul). then like a little more than halfway through the story you can get trained to wear it. easily the best armor in the game.
