There was this web game (It was posted here on GW a few years ago) that was basically about typing speed.
According to how I remember it, words appeared on the screen and approached a line at increasing speeds, you had to type the word before it reached the line.

I was wondering if anybody else watches this series.

It's based on a manga by the same name and it's about a country guy who goes to Tokyo in order to accomplish his dream and form a "trendy pop band" but somehow ends up fronting a really exaggerated death metal band with makeup a-la-KISS... Now, the guy hates death metal but has sort of a split personality, when he gets his make-up on he does some really whacky shit, and he basically still wants to make a pop-band...

The guy has to hide his Death-Metal persona from just about everyone in his life, while at the same time, holding the pose for his fans and public image of the band... The humor is really crude and the characters are very hilarious stereotypes.

It's apparently 13 ovas, out of which there's 5 out subbed... (They run 15 minutes each) They supposedly made a Live-action movie but it hasn't been released/subbed yet...

Here's the situation:

Sometime ago I bought an Airport Extreme and am extremely happy with it (Not to mention my transfer rates between PCs went up noticeably due to the Airport being N)

Since then, my previous (and quite awful) G router is stored safely on the depths of some drawer in my room.


Now, my brother recently got the 3G Iphone and he basically set the Airport to 2.4ghz A/B/G compatible, which pretty much renders the whole N benefit inexistant, not to mention the performance in general decreased. (And it makes the money spent on the router pretty much a waste)

So, discussing it yesterday, we got the idea of plugging the old router back, IN ADDITION to the Airport...

Is it possible to set the Airport Extreme to 5ghz only and plug the other router via LAN into the airport or something like that?
What should I expect when doing this?

Basically what I'm expecting is to have a 5ghz N network for the PCs and laptops and a separate 2.4ghz G network for the DS, Iphone and everything else that doesn't support N... Is this possible with what I currently own?

So, is it any good or not?

My windows installation pretty much can't hold out any longer... I last reinstalled about 2 years ago and even changed motherboard and CPU with the same installation...

So, I'm looking to reinstall this weekend but I want to know if SP3 is actually worth it or should I just stick to SP2?

Can anyone post or link a list of new features/changes from SP2?

P.S. Last I checked SP3 was pretty buggy, has this been fixed?

I'm looking for a router that doesn't suck balls...
Currently I have an Ovislink WT-2000R and it's pretty bad... I'm fairly sure it's configured right and I've got the PC directly hooked to it and a Macbook on wireless... And I basically just HAVE to use the DMZ option, if the Mac doesn't use it, it can't do p2p and if the PC doesn't use it, I can't even browse...

So, I'm looking for a new router... Do you have any recommendations? Is the D-Link DIR-655 any good?

I was hoping if anybody could give me recommendations on this... I was using Firegraphic XP 5 for a while and it was good but then it just got too old and didn't work properly. I switched to Firegraphic 9 and it sucks major balls...

Can someone help me?

I am looking for a trojan/backdoor/resident that I can configure so whenever someone inserts a CD or pendrive in a computer, it can copy all files of a given type in the unit (Ideally inside subdirectories too) to a certain location specified by me.

If someone is asking why the fuck would I want this, it's to make sure I can get copies of Powerpoint presentations used by faggot teachers that don't want to give them to the class.

I like the way they did the magic system for than regular MP (Was it like this too in the old FF3?) and I like the fact shops give you discount for bulk shopping.

Today, something happened to me that made me once and for all realize how wrong and shitty media producers are. How their censor and try to control what we do and what we see and HOW we do it or see it.

Today, I bought Terminator 2, EXTREME edition. (Legitimately, of course)
So, I watched the movie on my DVD, then began checking the Extras out and noticed the second disk contained the Theatrical version in full HD for watching on the PC. Upon inserting the disc, I am prompted to install some software, after installing about 200mb worth of bloatware, I am ready to watch my 1080p version of the film. Only, when I click on "HD Version" I get a WMP Dialog "This content is licensed for Region 1(US/Canada) only and is not limited by the DVD Region Codes to prevent people elsewhere watching it. If you don't live in these countries, We will not provide you with a license to watch this feature. Distribution supported in US and Canada only."

This is such a pile of bullshit... How do they expect people not to pirate stuff this way? I mean, if I go and pay for an overpriced DVD because I actually like the movie and think they deserve me buying it legally so they'll get their revenues, only to find I have been thwarted by a stupid protection system so I can't watch it just because I live in another country...

And then they calculate their losses in the billions of dollars, because if I now go and download an HD version off of somewhere, I downloaded illegally and thus they will be "Losing money because I will now not buy the movie." Well, breaking news... I DID BUY IT and they still don't let me watch it!

I... I can't believe it. Is NOBODY here watching this awesome series?

This is a Terminator TV-series, following the events of T-2. They've retconned T3 (Atleast for the sake of this series... We'll have to see what timeline T4 occurs in) and it follows Sarah and Connor as they try to escape and lay low after the events with the T-1000. Namely, they're criminals wanted by the FBI for the murder (Of Dyson) and the destruction of Cyberdine among other things. Among all this mess, a new terminator appears and begins hunting John.

From what I've seen (7 episodes) the series seems truly great. It looks like it was made for fans by fans and is full of references and nerdy jokes here and there. They've also tried (Somewhat succesfully, I'd say) to avoid "villain of the week." and this first season is developing pretty good.

The season finale (2h special) airs this monday.
