Well... yeah see it was never explicitly mentioned. So in my obliviousness I just assumed we were still generally talking and geodude was being offended for gay people rather than actually being one. Very very dumb mistake on my part.
On the topic of heteronormativity, what if ones own internal logic for it was that since the majority of people are straight, you make that assumption? I always viewed that as a practicality thing. But I can see that as potentially problematic as well?
