feature is a bit much but the comments are way worse imo. What's his name with like 20 comments out of 40-something is putting way too much effort into being intolerant and stuff he should go cosplay as poison already

these old bones are now 25.  I think that's supposed to be "peak youth."  anyways, this place is cool and I've enjoyed haunting it. that's all.

I would totally yap in it. Also I think an unwritten rule in that topic should be that discussion is only allowed about the first episode until the topic hits its second page, and then people can talk about the second episode but not the third until the topic hits its third page and so on in that fashion until enough posts are made that we can just talk about the entire season no-holds barred while looking forward to season 2.

It's a bit unrealistic as an expectation, but hey it's a thought! (plus if it WERE done like that then it'd be a lot easier to hide/conceal spoilers. I haven't had a chance to start watching, but it seems like the show is going to be pretty spoiler heavy no matter how far in you are)

it's simple to watch illegally online, but that assumes the premise that tv is worth watching and not something you habitually witness because you're really bored and lonely or sick

you'd probably enjoy it EDC, but there's not that much to talk about from episode to episode unless we'd be able get people to agree to watch it together. that would be fun tho. probably just a general thread so we can talk about TD and hannibal and whatever else

Actually I have already been planning to watch illegally for a while now. Just been waiting until the season finished because I hate waiting on cliffhangers (when I can help it). My dad's really been on my case about how awesome it is, and I can already tell that no more than 5% of that praise is stemming from personal bias about most things he's personally acted in.

Also totally not opposed to anyone else watching illegally, and neither is my dad. Yeah he will get residuals for the upcoming DVD sales, but we are both convinced that the widespread exposure is pretty much a net gain regardless of the intentions of any individual wishing to expose themselves to this series in any manner whatsoever (illegal or otherwise).

I also interpret that fact as anyone on here with a decent internet connection having literally NO excuse to miss out on checking out True Detective. Even without already watching it yet, I can say with practically no lack of certainty that your only regret will be not having watched it sooner.

My dad is a porn addict and downloads porn in huge batches on P2P networks and we were flaged and being watched for some stupid shit he made up on an internet chat (according to him it was made up). In anycase, turns out some of the stuff he downloaded was child porn. He deletes it however when he finds it in his batches (according to him) and the FBI found nothing illegal on his laptop. So they let him go (thus far).

It was pretty terrifying being raided. I answered the door. Thought someone was locked out when I heard a loud angry knock on the door, I went up opened it and they yelled that they were the FBI, they told me to come out and they patted me down and then interviewed us one by one. I initially thought it was because of my brother and drugs or something.

All I know is that I totally break down and admit everything possibly illegal that I've ever done when I'm interviewed by FBI during a raid. (except one thing involving weed and not actually buying it but considering it) Luckily they had no interest in anything that I admitted.

Ha, so the cats out of the bag eh?

No but seriously though, that makes absolutely no sense. Everybody knows Woody Harrelson would NEVER support online piracy no matter what the context.
