Still... ZSS is easier to write than Zero Suit Samus, especially if you're referring to the character multiple times.

is it really saving that much time using an acronym for Zero Suit Samus?

we're not text messaging here, and it's not like they are long words you are abbreviating, like ATM or NASA, or a long sequence, like NaNoWriMo or WYSIWYG.

Shut up. You abbreviate RPG Maker 2003 and Gaming World all the time and they're both shorter than Zero Suit Samus. Besides, you type like a child, so who the hell are you to be making up all of these rules?

Har, har, har. Nice try at being funny. Your retarded little example proves nothing other than the fact that you don't understand what acronyms are used for.

Back on topic, ZSS has some pretty cool moves. I like her regular B (the paralyzer) but I don't like how her down + B is just the paralyzer but in a different direction. Her Up + B might be cool for an offensive purpose, but you know people are going to avoid getting directly over her like the plague since they'll know what's coming. If it has a large delay afterwards (like a lot of up + B moves do), it could make her very vulnerable. The plasma whip looks really cool though. Kind of like Sheik's whip but not pointless.

Sarhan +1

They didn't show us her Down+B special move, The caption above the pic with the Paralyzer pointing down is her down smash attack. Since they didn't show her Down+B special move, I'm going to assume that she changes into Dark Samus (or possibly loses more clothes?).  :gwa:

Yeah, you're right. I didn't even notice that. She probably only fires right in front of her, which makes her down smash somewhat situational. Remember how Mewtwo's down smash only hit right in front of him? It was strong when it hit, but it was slow and very unreliable. Down smashes are meant to hit both sides around you and are usually used when your enemy is rolling around a lot. Mewtwo's down smash was just like an extra forward smash, and it was pretty useless in my opinion. Hopefully it won't be the same case with ZSS.

Oh, and let's hope you're right about her down + B.

I can see her downward paralyzer becoming the ultimate anti-ledge-grab move.

Also I kind of hope they make Zero Suit Samus a seperate character as well as a result of the final smash, unless Sheik is returning of course.

Actually, while down smashes are useful against rolling enemies, they're even more useful for tripping people who are shielding in general.  The moves hit below where the shield protects, so they can't be blocked very easily.

Good point.

Mewtwo's Down smash attack is about the same speed at his forward smash attack, and it does more damage, and has a wider range (I guess that's why the the Mewtwo tourney guy uses it).

the people who say they want ZSS as a normal character...

you guys make no sense.

There is a difference between Zelda/Shiek and that neither is SUPER OVERPOWERED or anything they are both normal characters, but there is probably a good chance that ZSS is overpowered because she comes out from a fucking super pretty much, you have to do something to earn her power not just do a button combo.

soooo I think its not very likely.

I think we'll see her as a separate playable character. Either that or you'll be able to start as her from the beginning of a match like you can with Sheik, although you won't be able to transform back. I don't think they'd limit her to being usable only when the Smash Ball item is turned on.

So we're just ignoring that the official sources have already said that the Zero Suit means a loss of power?

She'll be fast, but she probably won't deal as much damage or take a hit as well as Samus, going by what they've said. Her speed might bump her into a higher tier, but I doubt she's going to be broken or anything.

loss of power probably just means damage wise per move, but I am sure she is a character who will have a finese for weird combos given her Up move etc. Whip in King of Fighters is the same way, she is incredibly fast (which is a godsend in Smash anyways) and her actual moves dont do too much damage by themselves, but when used together they are devastatingz

Awesome update. Kirby's Final Smash is better than I expected, I mean, I thought you could cook only one enemy. As a Kirby fan, I just creamed my pants.

Oh and the Wario theme is nice I guess, though I haven't played any of the Wario games but still nice tune.

Kirby's smash seemsly extraordinarily accurate compared to the other smashes. It doesn't look like you can control kirby while the smash is in action. I just wonder whether all the other players are automatically thrown into the pot or not. If so, it def. has an advantage over smashes like Samus' or Mario's.

P.S. who is this ashley chick from warioware? the song reminds me of evil dead the music.

Heh, how odd, earlier yesterday I said "Uff, Zero Suit Samus... what about Kirby, I haven't hear of him in a while... wonder how his final smash works?" (Something like that)

How about that, I wonder if it has a vacuum effect.
