As to your "evil guys" concept, what about Ganondorf? Ganondorf isn't just a jerk, he really is evil. And Mewtwo may not be pure evil, per se, he's about as close as you get with a franchise like Pokemon.

This isn't to say that I definitely think Ridley will be in, I just don't know if your arguments are really the reasons he wouldn't be.

And Metaknight has been shown to have a soul at least, via the fact he speaks, offers Kirby a sword, and has his own set goals etc. Kinda like Bowser really.

As for clones, yeah, I don't want any clones either. We should have a unique Ganondorf (based on his TP appearance) and a unique Falco. MewTwo should be fixed and be in the game because he is 100x cooler than Jigglypuff (as if Jigglypuff is even cool).

I regularly beat the shit out of people with Jiggly. He's a good fighter and his Down-B is amazing.

Also Ridley would be cool but imo Samus is enough. We don't need SO MANY PEOPLE from each game really.

Also Meta knight's not evil, really. He's more of a rival, a la Wario or Shadow or something.

ALSO also the update is cool, he looks nice. I hope he's not BIG big like DK and Bowser, like slow and all, because I don't think we need too many of those.

Well, I meant more in his presence, I mean based on aesthetics alone he looks the most evil. Bowser and Wario are evil in a cartoonish sense, but Metaknight seems less cartoonish.

Technically, DK is Mario/Jumpman's rival.  He's in.

Ridley would be cool, and is by far the most obvious Metroid character to include (I mean, Mother Brain or Kraid would honestly not work, and the Hunters from Corruption are all equally non-fleshed-out-enough) but I don't think he'll make it in. He is way too big (he is a fucking SPACE DRAGON after all, and if you tried to shrink him down to, say, Bowser-size, he would look too funky) and it would be hard to give him a lot of moves. I mean, he can basically bite, claw, fly, and maybe breath homing fireballs, but that's it.

I just can't picture him in the game. I don't think he'd work out, on multiple levels.

Ohhhh yes it does. Dedede got the most votes, he's in. And there's no new Kirby game coming out anytime soon. Sonic was in because he got more votes than even Dedede. It's not A poll it's THE official poll that Sakurai made. So it means everything. Fucking everything.

And before any of you bring up arguments against the playability of Ridley, look at Severus' post thoroughly. He said everything I wanted to say, but in a way I never can (I suck at debates, sadly).

Actually it's not really his theme music. It was played in a lot of boss fights in Super Metroid, it just happened to become associated with him for whatever reason.
